De La Rosa was claimed off waivers by the Padres and optioned to Triple-A El Paso on Saturday. De La Rosa lost his spot on the Dodgers' 40-man roster earlier in the week after Hector Olivera's signing became official. The 25-year-old lefty struggled in six appearances with Triple-A Oklahoma City this season but turned in a 2.95 ERA in 36.2 innings with Arizona last season, albeit with a reverse platoon split (.233/.320/.302 vs. RHB, .309/.377/.418 vs. LHB).

De La Rosa was designated for assignment by the Dodgers on Tuesday. The signing of Cuban infielder Hector Olivera was finally made official, nearly two months after it was first reported, and De La Rosa was the roster casualty. De La Rosa turned in a 2.95 ERA in 25 appearances with the Diamondbacks last season, but gave up five runs on 12 hits and four walks in 7.1 innings with Triple-A Oklahoma City to begin 2015.

De La Rosa was claimed off waivers by the Dodgers and optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports. De La Rosa tossed six no-hit innings with Triple-A Nashville to begin the season, but had more walks (5) than strikeouts (4) and the A's ultimately decided he was expendable. The Dodgers will give him a look in the minors, and it's possible De La Rosa, who turned in a 2.95 ERA in 25 appearances with the Diamondbacks last season, could eventually work into a specialist role with the big club.

De La Rosa was designated for assignment by the Athletics Saturday. De La Rosa is moving off the 40-man roster to make room for Ben Zobrist's replacement, Max Muncy. It's hard to say where De La Rosa goes from here, as he could still bring value to a major league team and get picked up on waivers.

De La Rosa was optioned to Triple-A Nashville on Sunday. With the A's sporting a deep pitching staff, De La Rosa will likely have to start his season at Triple-A Nashville. He should get a shot in the big-league bullpen before the end of the season, but he'll likely just be working as a LOOGY and/or middle reliever.

De La Rosa was traded to the A's on Thursday for cash considerations, reports Jane Lee of MLB.com. De La Rosa spent his first significant time in the Majors in 2014 and compiled a 2.95 ERA with 32 strikeouts over 36.2 innings. He should compete for a spot in the A's bullpen in 2015, but the A's do have a number of lefty relievers certain to make the squad, so De La Rosa could end up in Triple-A to start the year.

De la Rosa was designated for assignment by the Diamondbacks on Friday. De la Rosa was removed from the 40-man roster as part of a trade that brought Rubby De la Rosa from the Red Sox and sent Wade Miley in return. He posted a 2.95 ERA and 1.39 WHIP with 32 strikeouts in 36.2 innings with the Dbacks, likely ending his chances to start the season with the big league club.

De La Rosa let up five runs on four hits in just one inning of the Diamondbacks' 14-5 loss to the Rockies on Friday. The 24-year-old hadn't allowed a run since Aug. 19. However, he's now let up a hit in five straight outings. The five runs is most he's allowed in an appearance and just two less he had all season before that point. His ERA moved from 1.87 to 3.12 as a result.
