Gregorius was placed on the 10-day injured list with a left knee sprain Saturday, retroactive to May 5.
EDGE Analysis
Gregorius missed Thursday's game against the Mets, and his absence was apparently due to a knee injury that will sideline him for at least a week and a half. It's not yet clear whether he'll need to spend more than the minimum of 10 days on the IL, but Johan Camargo should see increased playing time at shortstop, while Bryson Stott was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Gregorius (hand) went 2-for-3 with three runs, a RBI and a walk in a 10-3 win Tuesday over Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
After missing five games due to a bruised hand, Gregorius delivered in his return to the Phillies. The shortstop had a RBI single in the first, walked in the sixth and added a single in the seventh. After career-lows in average (.209) and OPS (.639) last season, the 32-year-old has bounced back in the early going, hitting .316 with a .776 OPS. He's been able to get on base consistently so far and his .390 OBP is nearly 80 points higher than his career rate and 50 points higher than his single-season best.

Gregorius (hand) will start at shortstop and bat eighth in Tuesday's game against the Rockies, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gregorius makes his return to the lineup after he didn't start or see any usage off the bench in any of the Phillies' five games. Despite Gregorius' absence due to the left hand bruise in addition to Johan Camargo's strong performance in the starting five over the past five games, manager Joe Girardi said Monday that Gregorius will retain the everyday shortstop job when healthy.

Gregorius (hand) is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Though the lefty-hitting Gregorius is on the bench for a fifth straight game due to his bruised left hand, he may not have cracked the lineup even if healthy with a southpaw (Kyle Freeland) on the hill for Colorado. Manager Joe Girardi said earlier Monday that Gregorius could be available in a pinch-hitting capacity, and the skipper also added that the 32-year-old will retain an everyday role at shortstop once healthy. While Gregorius remains sidelined, however, Johan Camargo will continue to fill in for him at shortstop.

Phillies manager Joe Girardi said Gregorius (hand) is "getting closer" to rejoining the lineup and will retain the everyday shortstop job upon returning, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Since getting hit by a pitch on his left hand in Tuesday's 6-5 loss to the Rockies, Gregorius has sat out each of the past four games. Johan Camargo has picked up all four of the starts at shortstop during that time, going 7-for-14 to bring his season average up to .318. Despite Camargo's early success, Girardi said he still envisions him as a utility player who can pick up consistent at-bats by bouncing around between different positions. With that in mind, Gregorius is seemingly secure atop the depth chart at shortstop, so long as he can quickly move past the hand injury.

Gregorius (hand) is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
Gregious will sit for the fourth consecutive game as he continues to deal with a bruised left hand, which occurred on a hit by pitch Tuesday. Johan Camargo will receive another start at shortstop in his place for the Phillies.

Gregorius (hand) isn't starting Friday's game against the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
Gregorius underwent X-rays that came back negative after leaving Tuesday's game against the Rockies with a left hand contusion, but he'll be forced to miss a second straight game. Johan Camargo will shift to shortstop while Alec Bohm takes over at third base.
