Rollins signed a minor-league contract with the Mariners on Thursday, Josh Kirshenbaum of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rollins had a brief stint in the majors for the Mariners in 2016, allowing eight runs over 9.1 innings. The 28-year-old last played affiliated baseball with Triple-A Iowa for the Cubs in 2017, but was released last August after compiling a 5.79 ERA and 1.50 WHIP in 32 appearances.

The Cubs released Rollins (undisclosed) from Triple-A Iowa on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The Cubs sent reliever Justin Grimm to Iowa and subsequently released the 27-year-old Rollins who is currently on the disabled list and has posted an uninspiring 5.79 ERA over 42 innings at Triple-A this season. He'll likely link up with another club's minor league affiliate for the remainder of the 2017 campaign.

Rollins was placed on the 7-day minor-league disabled list Tuesday, Tommy Birch of the Des Moines Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
The specifics of the injury have not been disclosed, but Rollins will be out of commission for at least the next week. The 27-year-old holds a 4.72 ERA over 41.2 innings with Triple-A Iowa this season.

Rollins cleared waivers Monday but will appear in big league camp during spring training, Mark Gonzales of the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
For the first time this offseason, the left-hander finally managed to slip through waivers. Rollins will still stick around in major league camp, but his lack of success in the major leagues will likely keep him in an organizational depth role for the time being.

Rollins was designated for assignment on Wednesday, Mark Gonzales of the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
The move was to make room for Alec Mills, who the Cubs recently acquired in a trade with the Royals. It isn't too much of a surprise Rollins was the roster casualty, as he has already moved quite a few times on waivers, including being claimed by the Cubs earlier this offseason. Chicago will try to send him through waivers again, but wherever he ends up, he'll serve as organizational depth.

Rollins was claimed by the Cubs on Friday, FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Since Nov. 18, Rollins has moved on waivers from the Mariners to the Cubs to the Rangers to the Phillies back to the Rangers and now back to the Cubs. Chicago may once again attempt to send him through waivers to get him off the 40-man roster. He will offer organizational bullpen depth wherever he finally ends up when the 2017 season begins.

Rollins was claimed off waivers by the Rangers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
This marks the fourth time the left-hander has been claimed off waivers and the second time he'll be added to Texas' 40-man roster. Rollins will likely spend 2017 in an organizational depth role, although given the course of his offseason so far, it's anyone's guess as to where that will take place. To make room for him on the 40-man roster, Tyrell Jenkins was designated for assignment.

Rollins was designated for assignment Wednesday, Jim Salisbury of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rollins was claimed off waivers by the Phillies earlier this month. The Phillies will hope he passes through waivers unclaimed so they can assign him to their Triple-A affiliate.

Rollins was claimed off waivers by the Phillies on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
This marks the third time Rollins has been claimed this offseason, as teams continually try to sneak him through waivers and place him in an organizational depth role. The left-hander hasn't been good in either of his major league stints, although he has a chance to stick on the Phillies' major league roster as a middle reliever given their lack of southpaws in the bullpen.

Rollins was claimed off waivers by the Rangers on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Rollins was just claimed by the Cubs last week, so apparently they attempted to sneak him through waivers to get him off the 40-man roster and the Rangers swooped in. His ERA in each of the past two seasons has been north of 7.50 and his strikeout totals are not impressive, so at best he will make the roster and serve in low-leverage situations.
