Tillman (0-2) took the loss against the Yankees on Saturday, allowing five runs on eight hits and four walks over 5.1 innings while striking out three.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander threw only 58 of 106 pitches for strikes in an erratic performance, and it looks like Tillman's 2017 control problems have carried forward into 2018. The Orioles' lack of alternatives on the 40-man roster will buy the veteran some time to try and sort things out, however. He gets another tough road start Friday against the Red Sox.

Tillman (0-1) took the loss against Houston on Monday, allowing four runs on seven hits with four walks and no strikeouts in just four innings.
EDGE Analysis
It wasn't exactly an encouraging start to the season for the veteran right-hander, with the zero strikeouts representing perhaps the most troubling aspect of an overall lackluster stat line. Tillman only started seven games last year due to injuries and had a 7.84 ERA in his 93.0 innings. He would be a risky fantasy play anyway at this point, but if he doesn't put it together soon, he could lose his spot in Baltimore's rotation altogether.

Tillman will start Monday's game against Houston, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tillman will slide down to the fifth spot in Baltimore's rotation once Alex Cobb gets back to speed, but for now the 29-year-old is set to follow Kevin Gausman for the club's road opener versus the Astros. He had a rough go of it during the 2017 campaign, posting a career-worst 7.84 and 1.89 WHIP while logging a measly 63:51 K:BB over 93 innings. Fully healthy for the first time in 20 months, Tillman will look to get back on track with a tough matchup against the defending champions.

Tillman is the starting pitcher for Tuesday's Grapefruit League contest against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
The Orioles eased the right-hander into game action after signing him in mid-February, but the time finally came for him to pitch against other major-leaguers. At this point, Tillman seems to be in line for a back-end rotation spot, especially after news broke that Gabriel Ynoa (shin) will begin the season on the disabled list. Tillman will look to improve after a disappointing 2017 campaign in which he produced a rough 7.84 ERA and a 1.89 WHIP in 93 innings pitched.

Tillman will throw another simulated game before seeing live spring action, Jon Meoli of The Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's been nearly two weeks since Tillman re-signed with Baltimore, and he appears to be closing in on his first spring appearance. Though he struggled tremendously last season -- both due to injury and giving up the long ball -- Tillman is still expected to compete for a back-end rotation spot.

Tillman signed a one-year contract with the Orioles on Monday, Jon Heyman of FanRagSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The deal is reportedly a major-league contract worth about $3 million, according to Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports. 2017 was a forgettable year for Tillman, as he missed the first month of the season with a shoulder injury and struggled mightily when healthy, posting a career-worst 7.84 ERA and 1.89 WHIP across 93 innings. With a full offseason to rehab his shoulder, a healthy Tillman will look to bounce back in 2018, though it may be best to take a wait-and-see approach with the soon-to-be 31-year-old. He'll enter camp as a favorite to claim one of the team's final rotation spots given his previous major-league experience, though he'll have to prove his health in order to do so.

Tillman allowed four runs on six hits and a walk while striking out two batters through four innings during Sunday's win over Tampa Bay. He didn't factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a lost season for Tillman, as he posted an 8.08 ERA and 1.96 WHIP over his 18 previous starts. As a result, he's been relegated to the bullpen multiple times since mid-August, and the veteran righty might not receive another start this season. Regardless, he's best viewed as a desperation fantasy option in all settings at this stage of the game.

Tillman is starting Sunday's game against the Rays, Jon Meoli of The Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dylan Bundy had been scheduled to start Sunday, but the Orioles opted to make a last-minute change to Tillman. Tillman has started 18 games for Baltimore this season, over which he's 81.1 innings and thrown for an 8.08 ERA.

Manager Buck Showalter said that Tillman is still an option to rejoin the rotation. "We're trying to put our best foot forward every day, and Chris could be that," Showalter said. "I would like to get him a start or some starts before the year is over, and I think that will present itself," Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander has pitched in just two games since being moved to the bullpen Sept. 7. Tillman has lost most, if not all, of his fantasy value this year, just a campaign removed from tying a career high with 16 wins. Another start or two would make him a viable punt play in daily leagues, though.

Tillman will transition to the bullpen while Gabriel Ynoa takes his place during Saturday's affair in Cleveland, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tillman has been hit pretty hard during his last three outings, including Sunday's contest against Toronto, during which the right-hander was only able to throw four innings of action. Moving forward, Tillman will likely settle back into a middle relief role like the one he occupied in mid-August while attempting to fix some mechanical issues. A spot start or return to the rotation shouldn't be ruled out, but the 29-year-old hasn't found any success on the mound this season.
