Moss is out of the lineup Wednesday against Baltimore.
EDGE Analysis
Moss will retreat to the bench after going 0-for-5 during the first two games of the series. The designated hitter hasn't recorded a multi-hit game since July 20, batting just above .200 at the plate since that date. In his place, Mike Moustakas is set to DH on Wednesday, while Ramon Torres draws the start at third.

Moss is out of the lineup Sunday against the Red Sox, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Moss will take a seat for the series finale with the Red Sox bringing a second consecutive southpaw to the hill in Drew Pomeranz. Salvador Perez will handle DH duties for the afternoon in Moss' stead.

Moss went 1-for-4 with two walks and an RBI in Wednesday's 16-2 win over the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
With a .207/.286/.410 batting line for the season, Moss has been a major disappointment after inking a two-year, $12 million contract in January, but he's at least beginning to turn the corner and produce as the Royals had expected. Moss has reached base in each of his last nine games, going 10-for-34 (.294 average) with two home runs and nine RBI along the way. The 33-year-old is likely still sitting on the waiver wire in most leagues following a dismal first half, and given his recent hot streak and the numbers he's put up the last five seasons, Moss could be worth another look.

Moss went 1-for-3 with a walk-off RBI double and a walk in Sunday's win over the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Moss broke a 4-4 tie by driving in the game-winning run off Tyler Clippard with nobody out in the bottom of the ninth. Twenty of the designated hitter's 44 hits this season have gone for extra bases.

Moss went 1-for-3 with a solo home run -- his 12th of the year -- one walk and a stolen base in Saturday's win over the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
He might be hitting just .208 on the season, but that's quite a stark improvement from the .177 average he opened July with. Over 43 at-bats this month, Moss is hitting .326 with three homers, 10 runs and eight RBI. Looking more like the hitter Kansas City bought into this offseason, the veteran has been on a tear most recently, going 7-for-16 with a pair of long balls and six RBI in the team's last four games. Moss landed on the waiver wire in many fantasy leagues with his poor first half, but it's time to buy and ride this hot streak for as long as it continues.

Moss went 2-for-5 with a double, four RBI and a run during Thursday's win over Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
Moss has flashed modest pop with 11 homers through 220 plate appearances, but his .205/.273/.410 slash line still leaves a lot to be desired. Additionally, with just 22 RBI and 25 runs, there aren't many settings where Moss is a serviceable fantasy asset.

Moss went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, two runs scored and two RBI in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
He was the engine driving the Royals' offense to victory in this one, getting them on the board in the third inning with a solo shot off Justin Verlander, then driving home the tying run in the bottom of the ninth with a double before scoring the winner on Alex Gordon's sac fly. It's been a rough season overall for Moss, who has 11 homers but only 18 RBI and a woeful .200/.270/.405 slash line, but this performance could be the spark he needs to turn things around.

Moss is out of Tuesday's lineup against the Tigers, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Moss has been a DNP in nine of the last 25 games, hitting just .209 with a 34.7 percent strikeout rate over that stretch. The Royals will likely continue to look for ways to construct a lineup that does not include Moss, and that may include adding a bat at this year's trade deadline. Jorge Bonifacio is starting at DH while Whit Merrifield starts in right field and Ramon Torres enters the lineup at second base.

Moss slashed a disappointing .193/.265/.392 with just 16 RBI in the first half of 2017.
EDGE Analysis
Moss, who was brought in over the offseason to replace Kendrys Morales as the Royals' primary DH, averaged 24 homers and 69 RBI over the last three seasons. This year, he's on pace to notch fewer than 20 dingers while fighting to scratch out 30 RBI. The 33-year-old has been a bit unlucky with a .240 BABIP, yet at the same time, Moss owns a career-high 34 percent strikeout rate through 181 at-bats. Manager Ned Yost recently expressed confidence in the veteran, but fantasy owners might want to think twice about clogging a roster spot with Moss at this point.

Moss is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mariners, Shannon Drayer of MyNorthwest.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Moss has been finding a little bit of a groove recently, going 6-for-16 from the plate in the past four games, with three extra-base hits sprinkled in. He will get the day off in favor of Jorge Soler for Wednesday's series finale, and may be on the bench for the rest of this week with a series against the Dodgers in Los Angeles looming this weekend.
