Beachy signed a one-year, $1.5 million deal with the Dodgers on Wednesday, MLB Network's Jon Heyman reports.
EDGE Analysis
The deal includes $2.75 million in incentives, including a roster bonus, incentives for games started and games pitched, which makes sense in Beachy's case. He has pitched just 38 big league innings since the start of 2013, with eight of those coming in two starts for the Dodgers last year, where he sported an unsavory 7.88 ERA. Considering how deep the Dodgers rotation is after a flurry of offseason moves, Beachy will have a hard time cracking the Opening Day roster as a starter, and might not even be first or second in line, should the Dodgers need a spot starter.

Beachy was activated from the 7-day disabled list Monday, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.
EDGE Analysis
Beachy will rejoin Triple-A Oklahoma City after going on the disabled list in the later portion of August. He pitches in the rotation for that club, but that seems unlikely to continue if he were to find a spot on the Dodgers.

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Brandon Beachy accepted an outright assignment to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday, according to True Blue LA. The acquisitions of Mat Latos and Alex Wood made Beachy the odd-man out in the starting rotation.

The Los Angeles Dodgers designated pitcher Brandon Beachy for assignment Thursday. Beachy, who allowed seven runs over eight innings in two starts in his return from his second Tommy John surgery, was expendable after the Dodgers acquired pitcher Mat Latos from the Miami Marlins and Alex Wood from the Atlanta Braves earlier in the day.

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Brandon Beachy was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday. Beachy recently returned to the major leagues following Tommy John surgery but allowed seven runs in eight innings across two starts before his demotion.

Beachy lasted just four innings Sunday, allowing three runs in his first start since 2013. He was throwing in the 88-91 mph range as expected. Beachy should slot in the post-break rotation and should be owned in deeper formats.

Beachy (elbow) has been reinstated from the 60-day disabled list and will get the start Saturday. After recovering from his second Tommy John surgery, Beachy will be making his first major league start Saturday since 2013. He'll be facing a very right-handed heavy Brewers lineup in his return to the mound. The Dodgers optioned Josh Ravin to Triple-A Oklahoma City in a corresponding move.

Beachy (elbow) will start Saturday against the Brewers, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports. Beachy was expected to receive the start Saturday, but reports were contradictory on that front. He's now been confirmed, and will make his first major league start since 2013.

Beachy (elbow) will join the Dodgers in LA, and could start Saturday against the Brewers, Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports reports. An earlier report indicated that Beachy was no longer being considered for the start, but this move contradicts that outcome. It seems now he's the likely starter Saturday, but the team should officially announce that at some point prior to the game.

Beachy (elbow) will make another rehab start with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday, Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register reports. The Dodgers were reportedly giving some consideration to activating Beachy to start Saturday against the Brewers, but they will instead leave him down for one more minor league outing. It makes sense that the team would want to use the maximum amount of time for Beachy's rehab, as he is working his way back from a second Tommy John surgery. He could be an option to join the rotation after the All-Star break.
