Parker permitted one run on two hits over 1.1 innings in a non-save situation against the Yankees on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Parker was called in to face Luke Voit with a three-run lead, two runs in and a runner on first in the seventh inning. The right-hander retired Voit on a groundout to end the threat but was reached for a solo homer by Gary Sanchez to lead off the eighth inning. The non-save chance doesn't seem to indicate any lack of faith in Parker as the closer, as he was deployed in the high-leverage moment of the game.

Parker worked around a hit to throw a scoreless ninth inning, earning the save in Monday's win over the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Parker has been absolutely dominant this season, not allowing a run since his first outing of 2019. He now owns a 0.96 ERA in 9.1 innings and is 6-of-6 in save opportunities.

Parker struck out two in a scoreless inning to record his fifth save in a 4-1 win over the Orioles on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Parker made quick work of the Orioles, allowing only one ball to be put in play as he nailed down his fifth save of the season. The right-hander hasn't allowed a run in his last nine appearances and has a 1.08 ERA with a 8:5 K:BB this season.

Manager Rocco Baldelli said Parker (illness) is available Monday against the Astros, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Parker wasn't available for Sunday's game due to an illness but is reportedly feeling much better Monday. Look for the right-hander to be utilized if the game is close. Through eight appearances this season, Parker has tallied four saves to go with a 1.42 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 6:5 K:BB in 6.1 innings.

Parker was not available for Sunday's game since he was feeling ill, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor Rogers was used in the ninth inning to record the save with Parker out. It's possible Parker may not have been used if healthy, however, as Rogers has been used in similar save situations this season. It's thought Parker will be available in Minnesota's three-game series in Houston, but his status for Monday isn't clear.

Parker saved his third game in a 4-3 win over the Tigers on Saturday, throwing a scoreless inning in which he allowed no hits and one walk while striking out two.
EDGE Analysis
Parker has now converted all three of his save opportunities and has not been scored upon in his last five appearances. The 33-year-old has a 1.80 ERA, a 0.80 WHIP and a 3:3 K:BB for 2019.

Parker recorded his second save of the season in Wednesday's 7-6 win over the Royals, retiring the only batter he faced.
EDGE Analysis
Trevor May did the hard work, firing 1.2 scoreless innings in the eighth and ninth innings, but Parker got the glory by coaxing a weak groundout from Alex Gordon for the final out. Parker seems like Twins manager Rocco Baldelli's top closing option at the moment, but May, Taylor Rogers and potentially even Trevor Hildenberger could all factor into the ninth-inning mix as the season progresses.

Paker pitched a scoreless 10th inning to earn his first save of the season in Tuesday's win over Kansas City.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor Rogers got Minnesota's first save of the season, but Rogers pitched a scoreless eighth and ninth inning before the Twins took the lead. Parker bounced back after giving up a run and taking a loss in his first outing. The Twins closer situation remains unpredictable with Parker, Rogers and likely Trevor May all in the mix for save chances.

Parker remains in Minnesota's closer mix, but manager Rocco Baldeli has not indicated who may be his closer or if he'll use a bullpen by committee, MLB.com reports. Parker has given up one run this spring in five innings with six strikeouts and no walks.
EDGE Analysis
It increasingly sounds like the Twins will use a closer-by-committee based on matchups. Trevor May may be the leading candidate to close games since he was used as a closer at the end of last season, but the job could easily be equally split between May and Parker with others, including Trevor Hildenberger, Addison Reed, Taylor Rogers and Fernando Romero, in the mix as well.
