Rienzo tested positive for metabolites of Stanozolol, a performance-enhancing substance. The 23-year-old right-hander has a 3.37 ERA over parts of six seasons in the minors, including a 1.08 ERA and 31/7 K/BB ratio over 25 innings with High-A Winston-Salem this year. Baseball America ranked him as the organization's No. 17 prospect during the offseason.
