Andre Rienzo struck out eight and allowed two runs over six innings in Tuesday's win over the Royals. Don't look now, but Rienzo is 4-0 with a 4.00 ERA after Tuesday's win. He gave up five hits and walked two but, more importantly, he didn't allow a home run after serving up six in his first five starts. We're still not entirely sold on Rienzo as a mixed league asset, but he's certainly good enough to be owned in all AL-only leagues. He'll look to run his record higher against the Yankees on Sunday.

Andre Rienzo allowed two runs -- on two solo home runs -- over 6 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the Athletics on Wednesday. The solo homers, to John Jaso and Josh Donaldson, were the only hits Rienzo allowed on the day. The right-hander also walked two while striking out four. An unheralded member of the White Sox rotation, Rienzo has a 3-0 record, 4.20 ERA and 1.27 WHIP in 30 innings, and the White Sox have won all five of his starts. He'll have a chance to run that perfect record higher Tuesday at the Royals.

Andre Rienzo labored through 4 2/3 frames but escaped with a no-decision Sunday, allowing three runs on seven hits and four walks in a 4-3 win over the Indians. Rienzo served up a pair of solo shots to George Kottaras and needed a whopping 99 pitches to get through the 4 2/3 innings. He was bailed out, though, as the bullpen spun 4 1/3 scoreless frames and the offense rallied in the ninth. Rienzo was much better in his previous two outings, but with Scott Carroll pitching well and Chris Sale (elbow) due back before long, he can't afford any more slip-ups. The young righty get the D'Backs at home next weekend.

Andre Rienzo allowed three runs -- two earned -- over six innings Monday to beat the Rays and move to 2-0. Rienzo has won both of his starts, so he'll stay in the White Sox rotation for now. Still, his stuff is mediocre and his command is below average. We doubt he'll be an asset in AL-only leagues.

Andre Rienzo got the win in Wednesday's start against the Tigers, allowing four runs in 6 1/3 innings. Rienzo, filling in for the injured Felipe Paulino, mostly stayed out of trouble, but the Tigers took advantage of him in the fourth inning, hanging a four-spot on the board. Rienzo surrendered five hits and two walks while striking out three. He will face the Rays the next time out.

Despite throwing 26 pitches out of the bullpen on Sunday, White Sox manager Robin Ventura said Andre Rienzo is the favorite to start on Wednesday. Rienzo will take the spot of Felipe Paulino who hit the disabled list on Saturday. He was extremely inconsistent during 10 starts with the White Sox in 2013, and is unlikely to have much value in mixed leagues this time around.

White Sox recalled RHP Andre Rienzo from Triple-A Charlotte. Rienzo had a 4.85 ERA and 9/7 K/BB ratio through three starts this season at the Triple-A level. The 25-year-old Brazilian is doubtful to carry fantasy relevance.

Andre Rienzo lost to the Royals after allowing three runs -- two earned -- in six innings on Thursday. Rienzo missed his previous start with a blister. The defeat tonight was his third in four starts, leaving him with a 2-3 record and a 4.82 ERA in 10 starts overall. He'll probably go into next year sixth or seventh on the White Sox's starting pitching depth chart.

Andre Rienzo (finger) expects to make his scheduled start Thursday against the Royals. Rienzo was scratched from his turn in the White Sox rotation last week due to a blister on his pitching hand. The right-hander is not a good fantasy streamer vs. KC.

Andre Rienzo has been scratched from Friday's start against the Tigers due to a finger issue. It's not clear exactly what he's dealing with, but obviously it's bad enough that the White Sox don't want to risk it. Dylan Axelrod will get the ball in Rienzo's place.
