Rodriguez is not in the lineup Monday against Miami, Wallace Matthews of ESPN New York reports. As expected, Rodriguez will take a seat Monday as the Yankees play in a National League park. The veteran will likely be relegated to pinch hit duty throughout the series, though there is an outside chance he could see time at first or third base.

Rodriguez is not expected to be in the lineup Monday or Tuesday in Miami, the New York Daily News reports. With no DH available at Marlins Park, Rodriguez will likely be limited to pinch-hitting duties in his hometown. He's made four appearances (two starts) at third base and two more (one start) at first base, but the Yankees clearly prefer to keep him out of the field.

Rodriguez went 1-for-5 with a two-run homer in the Yankees' loss to Baltimore on Saturday night. The blast was his 12th of the season, and he continues to move along with an impressive .273/.374/.512 line for the Yankees after settling in as the team's No. 3 hitter this season.

Rodriguez went 4-for-5 with a double and an RBI in Friday's win over the Angels. Much has been made about A-Rod's surprising resurgence in the power department, but he's now hitting for a solid .284 average. He'll most likely have to sit out of the lineup whenever the Yankees travel to an NL park, but when he's playing, A-Rod has turned in fairly reliable production.

Rodriguez went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer Wednesday in a win over the Royals. A-Rod's power surge in the early going has been truly impressive, but he'd gone eight games without a homer before hitting Wednesday's bomb. He's been racking up hits of late, though -- 10 of them in 22 at-bats over the last six games.

Rodriguez is back in the lineup Friday against Texas. He will bat third in the Yankees' order as the designated hitter. With the Yankees playing in an NL park earlier in the week, Rodriguez was subbed out of the lineup for both games against the Nationals. He'll return to the DH role Friday with the Yankees hosting the Rangers.

Rodriguez is out of the lineup Wednesday, MLB.com's Bryan Hoch reports. With the Yankees playing in an NL ballpark against the Nationals, Rodriguez will continue to be held out as he really only fits for them as a designated hitter. He should be back in the lineup Friday when the Yankees begin their weekend series against the Rangers.

Rodriguez is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Nationals, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports. Manager Joe Girardi recently expressed his hesitancy to put Rodriguez back into the field, so A-Rod will likely receive a couple of days off this week as the Yankees lose the DH as they travel to Washington for a two-game series against the Nationals.

Rodriguez went 2-for-4 with a home run in Thursday's loss to Tampa Bay. Heading into the year there were a lot of questions and concerns about how A-Rod would perform after missing a full 2014 season. He's put a close to those concerns and has been one of the most productive hitters on the team. He now has nine home runs and 21 RBI to go along with a .250 average. His days of hitting .300 may be over, be he can still clearly provide plenty of offensive production in a lineup that definitely needs it.

Rodriguez went 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout in Tuesday's loss to the Rays. His hamstring issue appears to be a thing of the past, and the fact that he does not have to play the field should allow him to remain a staple of the Yankees' lineup going forward.
