LaRoche went 1-for-3 with two walks, an RBI and a run scored in a 8-7 win over Seattle on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
It's hard to find a sliver-lining for LaRoche this season, so we'll say his 46 walks are right at Major League average. Other than that, his .213 average and .355 slugging percentage are dreadful for a player of his potential. Outside of his rookie season and an injury-riddled 2011, this will be LaRoche's worst season in his career by far as his power and average are dropping at unruly paces. It may be a case of age or being in a new environment, but in any case, he's off-limits for fantasy this season.

LaRoche is out of the lineup Saturday, CSN Chicago's Dan Hayes reports. The White Sox are playing in Wrigley Field this weekend, so without the DH slot, LaRoche may start all three games on the bench.

LaRoche is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game in St. Louis. With the White Sox playing in a National League ballpark, the team will predictably use Jose Abreu over LaRoche at first base. LaRoche also figures to sit out of the lineup Wednesday, but he'll likely slot back in for Friday's game in Baltimore.

LaRoche went 3-for-4 with two doubles and his ninth homer in Wednesday's loss to Minnesota. Aside from Adam Eaton and LaRoche, no White Sox hitters showed up against Phil Hughes and company Wednesday, with those two representing five of the team's seven hits (and all the extra-base knocks). Unfortunately, games like this have been few and far between for LaRoche, who'd gone two weeks since his last homer and is still lingering at a .237 average. He does have six hits in 11 at-bats over the last three games, though.

LaRoche is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Pirates. Same as Monday, the White Sox can't use a DH in a National League ballpark, and they obviously want to keep Jose Abreu in the lineup. LaRoche figures to rejoin the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pirates in Chicago.

LaRoche is not in the lineup Monday against the Pirates. With no DH in Pittsburgh on Monday, LaRoche will sit after starting each of the last four games. It's unclear if he'll be slotted into the lineup during the series, as Jose Abreu figures to have a stranglehold on the first base position.

LaRoche is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Astros, the Daryl Can Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. With Chicago facing ace lefty Dallas Keuchel, the team will deploy a lineup heavy on right-handed batters. LaRoche will be joined on the bench by Conor Gillaspie, with Geovany Soto starting at DH and Gordon Beckham at third base.

LaRoche went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in the White Sox's win over the Tigers on Friday. The home run was the 250th of LaRoche's career and sent this game into extra innings. LaRoche has been on a bit of a run lately, notching hits in 10 of his last 11 games, and he has three home runs over that stretch.

LaRoche hit a two-run homer and drew a walk in four plate appearances in the back end of Thursday's doubleheader in Baltimore. He's officially getting hot -- 4-for-7 with three extra-base hits in the doubleheader, and 8-for-15 over his last four games. It's going to take more than four games to make up for his lackluster first two months of the season, but at least he's starting to turn the page.

LaRoche went 3-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI in the first game of Thursday's doubleheader with Baltimore. The South Side's new first baseman has scuffled all year long, with his strikeout rate having spiked and his power and average fading, but he's found new life over the last three games, going 7-for-12 and striking out just one time. Even so, it's hard to be that optimistic about a 35-year-old who's struggled like LaRoche has, especially considering his tendency over the last several years to follow up good seasons (like 2014) with bad ones.
