You should notice much smarter auto-picking from now on.
This same engine powers the in draft advisor as well, so you should also receive better advice during the draft.
Have you seen any of the mails I have sent to Support the past few days trying to get help to get in to my leagues, using my pigskinpooper handle only?
I am beyond desperate for help and do not know why I cannot access any of them no matter what I do.
Please investigate this ASAP. I am not able to set any of my teams, move any bench or IR/DL players up.
qbs and rbs seemed to be picked heavy on auto pick. heavy rbs is ok for standared leagues but mine is 2 point per reception but every time one of my managers was not around for the draft or left for a min and missed his pick he would come back and another qb would be picked lol yea for live drafts you should be their for the draft or you most likely wont like what your lineup looks like sometimes you might get lucky but most of the time nope
Fleaflicker doesn't explicitly support an automated draft. At least one owner needs to be present for the draft to take place. However, if one owner signs on on during the live draft and sets his status to away, the computer will auto-pick for that owner and all owners that aren't present.
FleaFlicker still has the worst auto-pick of the several that I've used. It taints an otherwise great site. You need to address the problem of the heavy bias towards QBs. It's a lot less fun if you or your competition get stuck with a QB in the first round that normally wouldn't get drafted until round 5 or later.
Can someone in the know explain the logic behind the AI for the auto pick? I have a few players who will pre-ranking their players since they can't make the live draft and they have been asking questions about how the AI selects. I just kind of BS my way through it but one of their concerns is the way the mock draft seems to be QB heavy in the beginning and most people seem to select RB's early on. Is the AI QB heavy early on for the real live drafts?
You can pre-rank your players, and the AI will draft in that order. Unfortunately, you cannot set it to do: "If I get any of these RBs in Rd 1, then draft any of these QBs in Rd 2."
