Let's say I have these two claims:
Priority 1) Claim Brandon Bolden, drop MJD (bid is $20)
Priority 2) Claim Brandon Bolden, drop Taliaferro (bid is $100)
I'm assuming that if noone else bid higher than $19 on Bolden, then the $20 Bolden/MJD claim will go through.
But what if someone else bid $50 on bolden? Will I get Bolden with the $100 Bolden/Taliaferro bid?
And if I had a lot of time on my hands, could I do something like this....
Priority 1) Bolden for MJD ($1)
Priority 2) Bolden for MJD ($2)
Priority 3) Bolden for MJD ($3)
etc, etc, etc - so that I could always be sure that I don't spend a dollar more than necessary to win a free agent auction?
Yes, you can do all of the above and all your scenarios are correct. Just ensure the player being cut is still on your roster and that you don't max out a position or roster.
