Was just wondering what counts as a throw for my QB. Is it any overhand throw, a overhand forward throw, or is it only a throw where the ball is caught past the line of scrimmage? For example a quick lateral throw to the wide reciever behind the line of scrimmage, who then runs it 20 yds to a TD, is that considered a to pass for the QB? And what about a underhand pitch, or a flea flicker?
That would be ruled a backwards pass and a lateral if the receiver is still behind the LOS and not a forward pass for passing yardage. It goes down as a rush.

Forward passes are the only ones that are statistically recorded.
