I noticed under Other Rules, there is an option for this ... "Offensive Fumble Recovery TD". A very rare rule indeed, but no reason why it shouldn't be awarded with 6 points.

My question is, is this already awarded with a Rushing TD? The only time I can remember an instance of this type of TD happening was with Robert Meachem against the Redskins in 2009, I looked back and it was credited with a Rushing TD.

Has Fleaflicker recently added this rule? Or do they still credit these as Rushing TD? Thanks for any help.

I was able to answer my own question using a Test league. As it turns out, "Offensive Fumble Recovery TD" is a type of "Rushing TD" to Fleaflicker. I added the rule on a Test league, looked up Meachem's game against Washington and he was rewarded 6 points for both a Rushing TD and an additional 6 for Offensive Fumble Recovery TD.

You're correct here. It was applied to Meachem there for fantasy purposes. It's when an offensive player recovers a fumble for a touchdown in the end zone or picks up a fumble and runs it in. In mostly all cases it will also be ruled a rushing TD too, yes.

" or picks up a fumble and runs it in."

And here is where the meachem td is wrong and you guys should fix incase it happens in the future. An offensive player can not advance a fumble recovery per NFL rules..the ball is spotted where it is picked up...it should be ruled for the defense (I can see giving it to the individual player also but kind of ridiculous not to give the defense points)

But Meachem recovered Washington's fumble.

Right but he ran it for 40 yards for td....you can't advance an offensive fumble recovery which makes it a "defensive" fumble recovery. In the nfl official statistics he was also credited with a defensive tackle and forced fumble...you can't get a tackle or forced fumble on offense

Like I said no problem with with meachem also getting credited individually similar to if one of your players run a punt back it counts for your team and the player but it has to count for the defense since it was a defensive touchdown

And again there was a precedent....the bucs did the same exact play a few years prior and fleaflicker gave the defense the points...then without any changes to their rules it happened again and didn't credit defense

I'm just curious what fleaflicker coutns as an "Offensive Fumble Recovery TD", and if it will also be rewarded as a "Rushing TD" (similar to how "Interception Return TD" also count as "Defensive TD").

Not sure if you're just talking about if on offense say the rb fumbles and then an oline recovers in the end zone or like the meachem td where it was intercepted and then he striped it to get it back and ran for the td

If its meachem fleaflicker f'd up big time on that call...it should have been awarded to the defense and wasn't (per nfl statistics and rules)...also their was a precedent set before when mccardell did it with the bucs in a previous year where they awarded the defense. They left it up to the commissioners (and was last week of fantasy reg season with playoffs on the line)...cause a lot of problems
