OK, so right now I have 12 teams in my league with two divisions - right now I the gameplay set for two games against those in your division. This is because i'm sending six teams to the playoffs, so the division winners get byes.
If i set the league to play everyone once - will those teams in the division not play the same number of games against division opponents...
anyone have a clue?

I'm not sure I understand completely, but you can browse other leagues until you find one that mirrors yours and see how their scheduling is done.
This would be a good way to preview what your schedule would look like.
