In my 12-team league we were going to give the winner of the consolation bracket a non-tradable pick in the first round, 1.13. Is there a way we can add this or will we have to do it manually? Only the first round will have 13 total picks.

Thanks!

You wouldn't be able to add it (1.13 with 12 teams) in that fashion unfortunately. The rounds only coincide with the amount of teams (you can delete picks but not add picks to a round).

You can edit it round by round manually through the entire draft, but that would be tedious; though many users do it. Many users also have the team select the player and just inform all other teams not to draft that player.

My league also needs to add a supplemental pick. What do you mean by "edit it round by round manually"?

You would have to make pick 2.1 belong to the 1.13 as noted above which is tedious because every other pick would have to follow and it would take time unfortunately.

We're hoping to upgrade this in the future, but there's no clear-cut way to add a supplemental pick other than the options in the first post.

Would it be possible to expand my league to 13 or 14 teams for the draft then remove all draft picks for these additional teams that aren't needed for supplemental picks (1.13, 2.13)? This way, the 1.13 & 2.13 picks would show up in the draft history. Then after the draft I would obviously move the player to the correct owner and delete the extra teams...?

Yes, you can do that at League>Settings>Create a Team -- create a dummy team and then it will generate draft picks for them you can delete or maneuver as you wish.

This workaround was successful as I was able to just give the dummy teams' picks away to the correct owners which they can now even use in trades... What would happen if I remove any team from my league - what would happen to their draft picks? Ones that were traded to other teams?

If you completely remove and delete the dummy team, their draft picks and traded picks will then be removed as well even if they currently belong to another team (so the team actually playing will not have them).

Don't tell me I have to draft 40 players for each of the supplemental teams? I if remove their picks in the early rounds then it just adds more rounds onto the end of the draft....

We base the picks off the current keepers and total roster size. If you remove picks earlier in the draft, it will in fact leave them with additional picks at the end of the draft to round out the full roster size (we recommend just selecting retired players there and then just going to to Edit Rosters and removing the players when the draft is over).
