In NFL leagues, we currently have a limitation where you have to wait until the new season starts in 2015 on 2/10. We're looking to expedite this so you can leave earlier. We'll let you know when you can and thanks.

FYI -

I have used Fleflicker as my only Fantasy Football platform for seven years or so. This year all of the leagues I'm in were basically inactive. I want to drop out of the inactive leagues, and start a few new leagues. The season is over, but I have to wait 30 more days before I can leave the dead leagues? Why?

One league has been inactive for four years, and I'm the commissioner, but I can't delete the league? Seriously?

Then I realized, this is why the leagues are all inactive. One guy decides he doesn't want to play next year, but he can't leave the league until two months after the end of the season, at which point he isn't thinking - "hey I should go online an inactivate that team I stopped caring about two months ago." So, his dead team remains active, and the whole league suffers. Each year, it gets worse and worse, and soon no one in the league is active.

There is no movement to change this, so I'm now just deleting my Fleaflicker account altogether, and will be building real leagues on another platform. I have really liked Fleaflicker in the past, but this year tons of functionality was hidden or locked, and the leagues are terrible because people are stuck in them. The entire platform has gone downhill. So, sorry but goodbye.

Bwa ha ha ha!!!

I can't delete my account until I delete my teams! And I can't delete my teams for another month! That is some pure-gold "alienate your customers" bullshit right there.

I hope you realize this is a genuine problem - your platform relies on a heavy concentration of active users. By locking accounts like this, you only serve to reduce the concentration of active users in your account pool, and piss off the people who are annoyed.

Good bye.

I'm in Yahoo and CBS leagues, and I don't know any of them where you can drop out this time of year. I'm not sure why you can't delete your leagues. but I have found as commish of ten fleaflicker leagues, that if you communicate with the league's team owners, react quickly to replace inactive owners, your league will stay intact. My leagues have been around for the most part since 2008, generally with each league havinga core of veteran owners and 1 or 2 newbies each year. I'm not afraid to dump someone mid-season and find a replacement. My leagues range from 12-20 teams. In my 20-team league,we had an owner who had severe medical issues which would not allow him to be active. He offered to drop out, but the other owners wouldn't hear of it. They allowed me to run his team for the rest of the season, and he ended up beating me in the playoffs and winning the league championship. That's the kind of league I'm proud to be part of.

If you change your mind about fleaflicker, I will probably have some openings for 2015. Let me know.

I just wanted to mention.

If you want to delete your account without waiting for a draft to finish, just replace account info with a ton of generic letters. Then sign out and DONT SIGN BACK IN. Worked for me
