Are there any corrections for week 10?

Chitown021 Thu 12/25/14 9:33 PM

Yeah I just received the same notification. Whose stats were corrected?

dwdeathrock Thu 12/25/14 10:15 PM

Denver was given credit for an extra forced fumble, the Vikings sack total was reduced by 1, and what probably hosed both of you just like me is they awarded NE Pats DEF with a Block Kick.

Chitown021 Thu 12/25/14 10:44 PM

Yep, finally figured out where the stat adjustments were. You're right, the NE one F'ed me. I thought OBJ had pulled my ass out of the fire but he ended up a couple yards short. Sucks that all week I thought I was champ only to have it taken away Thursday night.

Unfortunately the NFL makes the changes late Wednesday night and publishes them late Wednesday/early Thursday morning. Therefore we run the stat corrections every week at Thursday at 4 PM ET and apply them to the matchups then.

All stat corrections are made in all leagues to which the rule applies, you can see them in all leagues by going to Scores->Week X->Stat Changes.

Here is some helpful information from our Owner's Manual:

How does Fleaflicker account for official NFL stat changes during the week?

The NFL and the Elias Sports Bureau meet on Wednesdays to confer and make official statistic changes to the previous week's games. If a such a change affects your league, Fleaflicker will automatically re-score the previous week's games on Thursday at 4 PM ET. Any changes announced by the NFL after Thursday are not automatically applied your league. However, commissioners can always manually edit box scores at any time.

If any matchup result is affected by the stat changes, your league will be automatically alerted. You can also see the exact stat changes for any prior weeks by navigating to Scores >> Stat Changes.

Note Commissioners can opt out of stat changes by going to League >> Settings >> Edit Tiebreak Rules >> Retroactively apply official stat changes and selecting No.

Can't opt out during the playoffs though.

We are definitely going to work on loosening restrictions for commissioners once the playoffs start; they can still edit past box scores though and give/take away points manually for now. Thanks.
