I have an owner who wonders if they don't have a team defense rostered at all. Will they still be able to make weekly roster moves or will it force them add a defense even though there might none available to pick up?
They would have to have a legal roster and address the team defense issue. It's still illegal there, you would be able to make tweaks as commissioner if necessary.
So a playoff game, My Opponent has a illegal roster.. Has a player on IR that is IR ineligible and has a player on the bench that is IR eligible,, so he is carrying 19 on a 18 man roster into the game,, he wins but, how can your players be locked and say illegal and he can fix that on his own,, I don't understand that.. He played with a illegal roster,, there is no next week this is it ,, So no more add or drops.. I don't see that is legal to carry a extra man into the game.. The site deems it as illegal yet after the game an all players are locked he gets a chance to correct his mistake.. ??
When a roster is illegal, the penalty is the inability to make roster moves (no adds or drops until the roster is adjusted). We are considering changing the word "illegal" to something else so that it doesn't imply that a team can't still participate.
Player on flea flicker IR played on Thursday and now is locked. If I drop a player on my bench, will the computer change the stats of the locked player on IR and put him on the bench? (IR to bench automatically)
No, the system would never move a player from the IR automatically. Your best bet is to contact the commish and ask them to use Set Starting Lineups in the League Settings to override the lock and move the player for you.
