Yes, teams out of playoffs can pick players up. We may work on a locking feature in the future that can protect them from not (especially in redraft leagues), but we allow them to for now.
Ok, I made a league rule for them not to be able to. I am the commish so I let them know anyone who picks up anyone not in playoffs will be reversed. I dont know why they would need to pick players up if they are out of it...I thin k it would be a great idea to create the lock for those out of playoffs. Thanks for the response!
Do you not have consolation games for the teams that aren't in the playoffs? If you do, they might would need to pick up a player to help them win. I like to have people in the league that are competing all the way to the end!
there is a consolation game set up automatically but it bares absolute no meaning to the season. we give the weekly high score cash payout for each week during the 13 week regular season , then the playoffs start so the teams out are deemed out at that point...
