I recently cut my starting TE on Sunday before kickoff and grabbed a new one, he went to my bench?? And thus I lost all his points. I have since add / dropped the same circumstances and they go right to my starting lineup without me having to do so. Why is this??
Players that are added will go to your bench under mostly all circumstances so be sure to always check your lineup. If you are directly adding a player or claiming a player and there's a starting slot available at a non-flex position for them and it's the only open position on your roster that they can fit (assuming there's no other player at that position on your roster, either), they'll be plugged in there. Be sure to always check though because in most circumstances they will go to your bench.
This is always a problem at last once or twice a season in every league. Logic statement to fill empty starting roster spot with a pick up would work. Can even be just a check box option.
