In our league the DT gets all credit for special teams TDs. However when a player on special teams fumbles, that player loses 2 points. Not the DT. This doesn't seem right. Case in point for Landrey on Thursday night. Is there anything that can be done to fix this?

They do count there as the player did fumble on the play, even though it was a ST play. It's a limitation on how we calculate fumbles -- you're correct and have a valid argument that it shouldn't, and in the future we should specialize special teams fumbles and fumbles and it's something we'll continue to work on.

Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do there on our end right now, but in the future hope to have a separate fumble category.

Your league can rule individually if they see fit to not charge the player with the fumble, but we do.

Thanks.
