I'm running into a problem scoring completion % for my league. Here is a bit of background about our league and how it's currently scored:

Our league is old and has some weird scoring rules so it was impossible to go to ESPN/NFL etc etc for our scoring system. We have been doing it by hand for years and attempting to use this site as an alternative and time saver. The current way we calculate completion % points is:

Completions/Attempts * 15

I've ran into a problem with Big Ben this week (may have happened to other qb's previously).... Essentially 30/43 * 15 for 10.46 points. We round this down so Big Ben would get the fantasy owner 10 points.

I currently have our scoring set to:

10 extra points when total Completion Percentage points is between 64 and 69 (inclusive)

11 extra points when total Completion Percentage points is between 70 and 76 (inclusive)

But neither of these seemed to of captured the Completion % points. Should I have it set like this:

10 extra points when total Completion Percentage points is between 64 and 70 (inclusive)

11 extra points when total Completion Percentage points is between 70 and 76 (inclusive)?

Thanks for your help

It's a tricky scoring rule and something we don't support entirely because decimal values can fall between whole numbers. If you incorporated that second rule, and his completion % was 70 -- he's actually getting points for both the 10 and 11 inclusive scoring rule.

If he passes for 69.5 in your first example, he doesn't get credit for anything.

Right now its completion % there using inclusive values (or any values) is a limitation that we've been aware of and suggest using your discretion if it does fall in between your inclusive values and you can edit past box scores. Sorry about the inconvenience.

Thank you for the quick answer and it doesn't leave me guessing either regarding this happening in the future if I switched our scoring system
