I wish this was explained better in the "playoffs" page in the owner's manual, but hopefully the powers that be on FF can answer it here.
With a 6 team playoff tournament, and the top 2 seeds getting 1st round bye weeks, can one of those top 2 teams not have to win a division? Say the two top teams in the league are in the same division - will those two teams get a bye week?
I thought winning a division would guarantee you a top seed, and thus, the top 2 seeds (both division winners) would get the 1st round bye weeks even if a non-division winner had a better record than one of the division winners.
Fleaflicker defaults division winners for a bye when there is room, like the NFL does. If there are more than 2 divisions and you have only 2 bye spots, like your league, there will be some division leaders without a bye. They will be broken using your league-specific tiebreaking rules to see what division winner gets a bye.
Commissioners do have power to change seedings at League-Settings-Edit Playoff Seedings when the regular season finishes, though.

If you could explain this, I'd be very grateful!
