I'd like to add a player off of the FA list but it won't let me do so until I remove Lamar Miller from the IR. He was questionable when I added him to the IR but he ended up playing a little, which updated his status to Probable and which now means I shouldn't have him on the IR.
Since Ronnie Hillman now has the Questionable tag, I would like to activate Lamar Miller from IR and add Ronnie Hillman to IR.
Since MNF hasn't happened yet, I need to click through to week 11 to make lineup changes such as this IR swap. But when I do that, Ronnie Hillman doesn't have an IR option on his drop-down. I can activate Lamar miller but then I'll have to drop someone.
I'm assuming this will all clear up after MNF but I'd like to add this player today rather than miss out.
Unfortunately Miller did play and did not re-injure the shoulder in the game. Although his status is still in question, it's unlikely he'll move before the game tonight. Only if our department in charge deems it necessary, so keep checking. But since his status is in question with nothing official and he didn't re-injure the shoulder, we likely won't downgrade him more there so you would not be able to make that change.
I guess my question is more about Ronnie Hillman. When I click forward to week 11 I can activate Lamar Miller from the IR. But I should also be able to add Ronnie Hillman to the IR since he got pulled from yesterday's game and is listed as Questionable. So I'm wondering why I don't have that option?
Oh, now I see Lamar Miller is questionable again. That solves my problem for today, although it wasn't what I expected. If that was because of you, thank you!
Hillman is listed as out and Miller questionable now. Our stats department can't make a player's injury status better between their game on Thursday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday to Wednesday afternoon, but they can be downgraded like you see. They are looked at on a case-by-case basis.
