When do team rosters lock as a team is eliminated from playoffs? My understanding is that once a team has been eliminated from the playoffs they are unable to add/drop, but they are still able to update current players on the roster for the consolation bracket. Is that correct?
During the off season, are teams able to add/drop players before the commissioner has activated a new season?
Rosters for teams won't lock until Week 17 is over for all types of leagues. You will be able to set the lineup. In terms of adding/dropping players, you can in keeper leagues until the championship game is over in your fantasy league. In redraft leagues, you'll be able to drop and add players until Week 17 is over. It doesn't have to do with when they are eliminated. They can continue to play, set their lineups, and will score on the left side of the scores page and on their roster page
You won't be able to add/drop players in the offseason until you activate a new season or tell the system you drafted (Edit Rosters->These are the complete rosters) or have a draft.
You will be able to trade draft picks and players on the team already, but for players not on teams, unfortunately they are locked during the time period from when your season ends in keeper leagues until 2/10. However, we hope to loosen restrictions moving forward on this because we know how important this is for keeper and dynasty leagues.

Is it possible to open up free agency after our fantasy championship, during the NFL playoffs then close free agency until we have our rookie draft?
