It's because Gates is playing in tonight's game during the window the trade processes in, so by design we have to extend the trade window though no more vetoes can be recorded.
It will go through Friday at 8 AM on 10/24 -- you can hover over Pending to see. Your commish can choose to execute it now, or retroactively apply points on Tuesday if the team getting Gates wants him for tonight.
I'm confused. it extended since gates is playing tonight? I am commish in 2 league and i have been telling them it completes in 48 hours of acceptance. I also looked and the trade it was actually completed but you stated tomorrow. A concrete time of trade completion would help out a lot. If not, As commish i will just let my leagues know that I will manually complete trade after the 48 hour review, so we can all have a clear timing of trade being executed.
Every league is different and your trade went through. At first glance, when the trade processed there, it actually moved to a new time -- that's a cosmetic glitch on our end that lasted 15 seconds and we'll look into fixing it.
Yes, it's possible if the trade was to execute during the window when the team was playing it would be pushed back to the next window to the next day at 8 AM ET.
You can tell right away by just hovering your mouse over the Pending button and it will tell you what time the trade is to execute. If it was to execute on 10/24 at 8 AM ET, it would show that -- that's what I briefly saw, but this is something we're aware of that only lasts about a minute before the trade is pushed through by the system.
The trades complete after the 48 hour review. You don't have anything to worry about.
