I commish a 10-team league where 4 teams make the playoffs.
The top two seeds are the 2 division winners and the last 2 playoff teams are the top teams left that have the highest point total (regardless of record and/or division). Currently the site has the ranks all determined just by record. Is there any way to input or edit the way the team ranks are determined? Or is this just a case where I need to edit the playoff teams at the end of the regular season?
Each league is different according to their rules in how they are currently ranked now. But division winners by default do show that they'll move into the playoffs.
You're correct in that you'll actually have 100% control of who you want to put in the playoffs. After the regular season ends, just go to League>Settings>Edit Playoff Seeding. (you won't see that until the regular season ends). You can place whatever teams you'd like in the playoffs. You can easily just put whoever you want in. The Edit Playoff Seeding button will show up after the regular season ends (the first Tuesday) and you can go ahead and do this.
