Here we go again. Hal, 4 years ago I tried to make this point: Fleaflicker shows WRONG Kickofftimes. Your post just confirmed the obvious and in 4 years, nothing changed.
Details:
I am living in Germany. Timezone is CET. Right now we use DST, so we are UTC+2. On sunday morning we go back to UTC+1. This leads to wrong kickoff times for sunday games.
Typically Sunday kickoff is at 19:00 CET. Since this Sunday time difference between CET and EST is only 5h. Games are going to start at 18:00 CET. But Fleaflicker says 7:00 PM Central European Time
Maybe u should consider scratching this whole "showing times in locale times" completely. Reason: SD@DEN Oct 23 '14 2:25 AM Central European Time is shown at fleaflicker.com
Thats wrong. Till the game kicks off it is Friday, Oct 24th over here.
Please contact our staff at fleaflicker.com and include some screenshots if you can. We have made many changes with Daylight Savings over the years and you should not be experiencing any further issues with this. We'd like to look into it if possible.
FleaMod, I sent an Email with screenshots. Hope that helps.
Ori, since NFL weeks have a common pattern with TNF, sunday early and late games, SNF and MNF, it is not that confusing. Spox.com (NBA.com redirects there for whatever reason) is a nightmare. It is anyones guess if a certain game gets play on the day shown or one earlier or later.
You're right. There's a bug in the way we detect timezones--we assume your timezone observes daylight savings time during the same dates as US Eastern, which is of course, incorrect as you point out.
I'll see what we can do about fixing before the DST change in Europe but rest assured this is purely a display bug--it won't affect any lineup locking behavior on your rosters.

In Europe Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday, 31st Okt. So, this Sunday the games will start at 6:00 pm CET. Fleaflicker says 7:00 pm CET.
AndiBarFri 11/5/10 5:56 AM
This week it is vice versa:
- FF states 6:00 pm CET
- since US switch back on Sunday, 7:00 pm CET would be right
FleaMod AdminSat 10/30/10 4:08 PM
Right, Europe falls back but the US does not
FleaMod AdminSat 10/30/10 4:09 PM
The US does next week

AndiBar, you are correct--we're showing the right time but the wrong date and day of week. I can see how that would be very confusing.
We'll get this fixed for you as soon as we can, thanks for the report.

Btw, the team page fleaflicker.com is doing it just right!
KC vs. STL on Sun
NO vs. GB on Mon
DAL vs. WAS on Tue
CAR vs. NO on Fri

This has now been fixed, thanks for taking the time to report it.

Wow, here we go AGAIN!
fleaflicker.com shows me
- Seahawks vs. 49ers at 2:25 AM CEST --- That's right, because there is a 6h diff between CEST and EST DST.
- Bills vs. Jags at 3:30 PM CET --- That's WRONG, because on Sunday Europe has already switched to normal time. CET to EST DST is 5h, not 6h.
- Every Sunday and Monday kickoff time is one hour off
- In week 8 TNF is one hour off. Sunday is correct.
AndiBarThu 10/22/15 3:33 PM
Please take a look at it asap. In 53 hours Europe leaves DST and I am unable to provide further info like screenshots, etc.

Seems to be fixed. I'll keep an eye on it next week.
