Martin Brodeur doesn't think the decision to have him start at home on Tuesday is related to the rumors that he will be traded. "It's a hockey decision at the end of the day," Brodeur said. "Regardless of if I'm going to go somewhere or stay here, that's the business part of the game. So, I'm kind of happy to get back in the net. It's been a while that I didn't play at the Prudential Center [since Jan. 7], so it's going to be nice for that." Brodeur has lost the starting job to Cory Schneider. We're still not entirely convinced that Brodeur will be dealt. The Devils aren't likely to get much for him at this stage of his career, so it would probably make more sense to just have the legendary goaltender finish playing out his final season in a Devils' jersey.
