Rivers (toe) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Rivers' absence at practice Wednesday was attributed to the turf toe injury he's been managing for several weeks, but his return to full activity a day later suggests he was merely getting some maintenance to begin the week. The veteran quarterback looks well on his way to making his 239th consecutive regular-season start Sunday in Pittsburgh.

Rivers (toe) was rested at Wednesday's practice, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wednesday absences are becoming the norm for Rivers, as he continues to manage a turf toe injury. Look for the veteran QB to return to a full practice Thursday, as he did last week in advance of the Colts' 27-20 win over the Texans this past Sunday.

Rivers completed 22 of 28 pass attempts for 228 yards and two touchdowns in Week 15 against the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
Rivers worked efficiently to lead the Colts to victory. He recorded multiple touchdowns for the fifth consecutive week, both of which went to Zach Pascal. While many of his attempts were to short areas of the field, Rivers did showcase some arm strength on long completions to Pascal and T.Y. Hilton, the longest of which went for 41 yards. He'll look to maintain his touchdown streak in Week 16 against the Steelers.

Rivers (toe) practiced fully Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Rivers continues to manage a toe issue, but despite his absence from practice Wednesday, the QB's status for Sunday's game against the Texans wasn't in doubt. He'll take aim this weekend at a Houston defense that was picked apart by Mitchell Trubisky (267 passing yards and three TDs/zero picks) in the team's 36-7 loss to the Bears in Week 14. Aiding Rivers' cause in Week 15 and beyond is that top wideout T.Y. Hilton has picked up the pace over his last three games and rookie running back Jonathan Taylor has put together back-to-back strong outings.

Rivers (toe) didn't practice Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Wednesday absences could become routine for Rivers down the stretch, as he continues to manage a turf toe issue. If last week can be used as a barometer, the veteran QB would be in line to return to a full practice Thursday.

Rivers completed 19 of 28 pass attempts for 244 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 44-27 win over the Raiders.
EDGE Analysis
Rivers' average of 8.7 yards per attempt was his second best of the season as he completed an impressive 68 percent of his passes. He also delivered his third game with multiple touchdowns and zero interceptions to take his TD:INT to 9:2 over the last four games. Rivers notably continued his growing rapport with T.Y. Hilton and also benefited from the team's rushing attack generating 212 yards on the day. The veteran is in full command of an offense that is finally humming and should face little resistance next Sunday against a hapless Texans defense.

Rivers does not carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Raiders.
EDGE Analysis
Rivers missed practice Wednesday due to the plantar plate rupture in his toe that's plagued him since late November, but he managed to close out the week with back-to-back full practices. The veteran signal-caller may have to make due without standout left tackle Anthony Castonzo (knee), who is listed as questionable to play in Las Vegas, but as a consolation he'll get to take on a Raiders secondary missing both Jeff Heath (concussion) and Damon Arnette (concussion).

Rivers (toe) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Kevin Bowen of 1075thefan.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rivers has dealt with a plantar plate rupture in his toe since Nov. 23, and the issue led to an absence from Wednesday's practice, so it's encouraging to see him back in action without restrictions. The veteran quarterback was never in real danger of missing Sunday's game against the Raiders, but a full practice session Thursday solidifies the notion that he'll be a go this weekend.

Rivers (toe) took part in practice Thursday, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reports.
EDGE Analysis
If Rivers follows a similar practice regimen to last week, he'll be a limited participant Thursday after an absence one day prior. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Rivers has been playing through a plantar plate rupture in his toe, an injury that is considered to be worse than turf toe. Consequently, Rivers likely will continue to devote much of his focus on treatment and only get on the practice field when necessary with the Colts in the midst of a playoff push.

Rivers (toe) won't practice Wednesday, Mike Wells of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wells suggests that the Colts may rest Rivers on Wednesdays going forward, as he continues to manage a turf toe issue. Look for the veteran quarterback to practice in some capacity Thursday and continue to play through the injury Sunday in Las Vegas.
