Woodson has been diagnosed with a dislocated shoulder and doesn't have a timetable for a return, Josina Anderson of ESPN reports.

Woodson kicked off his 18th professional season with seven tackles (five solo), but on the last one, he sustained the injury. With a diagnosis in hand, expect him to join fellow starting safety Nate Allen (knee) on the sideline for a significant amount of time. The Raiders will likely make a signing or two to bolster the secondary this week, but 2015 seventh-round pick Dexter McDonald is currently in line to take over at free safety.
