Delabar said Monday during an appearance on the "Outta the Park with Barry Davis" podcast that he's "ready to move on" from playing professional baseball.
EDGE Analysis
A 2013 All-Star for the Blue Jays, Delabar logged 190 career relief appearances in the majors from 2011 through 2016 between Seattle, Toronto and Cincinnati, supplying a 4.07 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 11.2 K/9 over 194.2 innings. The 35-year-old most recently appeared in affiliated ball at Triple-A Round Rock in the Rangers organization in 2018 but made only five appearances for the club before getting released in late April. Delabar noted that he's now committed to coaching at the high school level in his home state of Kentucky.

Delabar was released by Texas on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Delabar appeared in five games for Triple-A Round Rock in April, posting a 4.76 ERA and 1.92 WHIP. The 34-year-old has only pitched in seven big-league contests dating back to 2016, all of them coming with Cincinnati that season. He will look to latch on with another organization, but it's unlikely that he will make an impact at the fantasy level. In a corresponding move, Round Rock activated Yovani Gallardo after the pitcher agreed to terms last weekend.

Delabar signed a minor-league deal that includes an invite to spring training with Texas on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Delabar played in seven games for the Reds in 2016, but missed most of last season due to an 80-game suspension for violating the MiLB Drug Prevention Program as a member of the Indians' organization. The 34-year-old was eventually released in July, and didn't latch on with any other club following the conclusion of his suspension. Looking ahead, he will likely begin 2018 in Triple-A Round Rock while serving as organizational bullpen depth for Texas.

Delabar was released by the Indians on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Delabar hasn't played this season after incurring an 80-game suspension for violating the MiLB drug program, and it's becoming increasingly unlikely he'll get a chance to throw a pitch this year. The 33-year-old reliever appeared in seven games for the Reds last season, racking up a 6.75 ERA in eight innings, before signing a minor league contract with Cleveland in January.

Delabar was suspended 80 games for violating the MiLB Drug Prevention Program.
EDGE Analysis
Delabar hadn't appeared in a minor-league game due to the looming suspension. He hasn't been an effective big league reliever since 2013, so this isn't too much of a loss for the Indians.

Delabar signed a minor league deal with the Indians on Friday that includes an invitation to spring training.
EDGE Analysis
The 33-year-old righty has not been an effective big league reliever since 2013. He will offer organizational bullpen depth, likely starting the year at Triple-A.

Delabar was released Friday, Jamie Ramsey of the Cincinnati Reds reports.
EDGE Analysis
Delabar was unimpressive while with the Reds this season, giving up two earned runs in three of his seven outings while walking 10 batters. The 33-year-old does have almost 200 major league innings under his belt so it's likely he'll be picked up by another club in need of bullpen depth.

Delabar was outrighted to Triple-A Louisville on Thursday, MLB.com's Mark Sheldon reports.
EDGE Analysis
After being DFA'd earlier in the week, the veteran righty cleared waivers Thursday and accepted his assignment to the minors. He figures to provide a veteran presence in the Louisville bullpen moving forward, but his value as a fantasy asset is null.

The Reds designated Delabar for assignment Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Delabar walked 10 batters in only eight innings, making less stable than most of the already volatile Reds bullpen.

Delabar recorded just one out while giving up two runs and five walks in Tuesday's 13-1 loss to the Indians.
EDGE Analysis
He's now walked seven batters over his last two appearances, and that lack of control could soon have Delabar en route back to Triple-A Louisville. Even in a historically bad Reds bullpen, Delabar stands out as one of the poorer performers with a 7.71 ERA, 2.00 WHIP and 9:9 K:BB ratio across seven innings.
