Johnson was released by the White Sox on Thursday, Robert Murray of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson did what he could to stick around this spring, hitting .308 with an on-base percentage of .400. He'll look to latch on with a new team on a minor-league deal.

Johnson was reinstated from the 7-day disabled list Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson underwent surgery in April to repair a broken ulna bone in his forearm, but has looked good in seven rehab games with High-A Aberdeen and appears ready to return to Triple-A Norfolk. The 32-year-old resigned with the Orioles on a minor-league deal this offseason and will continue serving as organizational depth.

Johnson (forearm) will begin a rehab stint with short-season Aberdeen on Monday, David Hall of The Virginian-Pilot reports.
EDGE Analysis
The plan is for Johnson to spend 7-to-8 days with the IronBirds before returning to Triple-A Norfolk. The veteran infielder has been sidelined since April 9, but it seems like a return to action is on the horizon barring any extraneous circumstances.

Johnson (forearm) swung a bat for the first time since injuring himself in early April, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson seems to be in line with the original 6-to-8 weeks he was expected to miss after breaking the ulna bone in his forearm. Barring any setbacks, the Orioles are hopeful he will be able to return to action around mid-June.

Johnson suffered a broken ulna bone after being hit by a pitch on his right forearm in Saturday's game with Triple-A Norfolk, Jon Meoli of the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson, who signed a minor-league deal with the Orioles in February, was hit by a pitch in spring training that sent him to the X-ray room, too. Unfortunately for the 32-year-old, Saturday's results did not come back with positive news like the previous report. Manager Buck Showalter indicated that Johnson will be out a minimum of six weeks.

Johnson re-signed with the Orioles on a minor league deal Wednesday and will report to Triple-A Norfolk, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson becomes reunited with Baltimore after having been released Monday. The veteran third baseman hit .269 with three home runs and 11 RBI through 24 spring games, yet led the team with 17 strikeouts. He'll look to work his way back into the majors with a solid performance at Norfolk, but finds himself behind Manny Machado and Ryan Flaherty on the organizational depth chart.

Johnson was released by the Orioles on Monday, Eduardo Encina of the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson was 18-for-67 with three homers and a 2:17 BB:K (.269/.310/.493) before being released by the Orioles. He played in 113 games with the Marlins last season, slashing .222/.281/.329 with five homers and 24 RBI. The 32-year-old will try to catch on as a reserve infielder somewhere else.

Johnson went 1-for-2 with an RBI double in Sunday's game against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson, who missed a couple days after being hit by a pitch Thursday, is now 7-for-20 with four doubles this spring. The veteran is three years removed from a season that saw him post a 2.1 WAR with a .321 batting average and an .816 OPS. If he can come anything close to that, he'll be an asset for the Orioles as a backup corner infielder. With the spring roster being thinned out due to the World Baseball Classic, Johnson is in line for a heavy workload through the rest of the Grapefruit League schedule.

Johnson, who was hit in the hand by a pitch Thursday, received negative results back on his X-rays, Roch Kubatko of MASN reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is good news for the 32-year-old, who had to exit Thursday's game after being plunked in the hand by a pitch. He still may miss some time with soreness, but he shouldn't be out very long, if at all. With Manny Machado and Ryan Flaherty ahead of him at third base, Johnson will likely start the year off in Triple-A.
