Tuiasosopo went 2-for-4 with two home runs and five RBI in Thursday's Grapefruit League game against the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
He isn't even officially in major league camp for the Braves, but the club needed some extra bodies during the WBC and Tuiasosopo made the most of his opportunity. The journeyman saw only three at-bats in the majors last season and hasn't seen significant MLB action since 2013 with the Tigers, so don't be fooled into thinking his big day will translate into a big league job.

Tuiasosopo re-signed with the Braves on a minor league contract, Matt Eddy of Baseball America reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tuiasosopo spent a good chunk of time with the big league club in 2016, but he failed to get a hit during a short stint in Atlanta and was subsequently DFA'd shortly thereafter. The 30-year-old does have nice power potential, though, so he'll return to the Braves and act as organizational depth.

Tuiasosopo was designated for assignment Monday, David O'Brien of The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tuiasosopo was unsuccessful on all three of his at-bats with the Braves. His move off the 25-man roster will allow Atlanta to activate Gordon Beckham (hamstring) from the 15-day disabled list ahead of Tuesday's game against the Phillies.

Tuiasosopo's contract was selected by the Braves on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Tuiasosopo hasn't appeared in the major leagues since 2013, but he's been a consistently good batter at the Triple-A level over the past few years, so the Braves decided to reward him with a callup. The 29-year-old will likely act as a reserve corner infielder/outfielder with the big club.

The Braves will recall Tuiasosopo on Monday, David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tuiasosopo will be called up to give the Braves a true fifth outfielder on the roster. He is hitting just .218 through 25 games with Triple-A Gwinnett this season, but he does own an .829 OPS against southpaws, so he figures to be used situationally against opposing left-handers.

The White Sox signed Tuiasosopo to a minor league deal Friday, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Tuiasosopo played 63 games for Triple-A Charlotte in 2014, and he should spend much of 2015 at that location as well. It would take quite a few injuries on the MLB roster for him to grab a bench role in Chicago.

Tuiasosopo was released by the Orioles on Wednesday, Steve Melewski of MASN Sports reports.
Tuiasosopo was likely to begin the season with Baltimore in Triple-A had he stayed with the organization, but he'll instead have to pursue other opportunities at the Triple-A level. The outfielder last appeared in the majors in 2013 and is unlikely to have much of an impact in the big leagues wherever he lands.

Tuiasosopo was sent to Baltimore's minor league camp Sunday, MASN Sports reports.
Tuiasosopo went 0-for-11 this spring, so it came as no surprise that he was sent down. The Orioles do not have everything figured out in their outfield, but Tuiasosopo is buried on the depth behind a number of players. He figures to begin the season at Triple-A, but Tuiasosopo likely serves as organizational depth.

White Sox acquired OF Matt Tuiasosopo from the Blue Jays for cash considerations.
Tuiasosopo was hitting just .206/.289/.271 in 242 plate appearances this year for the Blue Jays' Triple-A affiliate in Buffalo, New York. He's doubtful to reach Chicago.

Blue Jays sent OF Matt Tuiasosopo outright to Triple-A Buffalo.
The 27-year-old was waived by the Diamondbacks while with the team in Australia, and faced the same fate with the Jays after not having enough time in camp to earn a spot on the Opening Day roster. He'll serve as organizational depth, but should get a chance with the big league club at some point in 2014.
