Andy Pettitte took a loss despite a great showing in his final Yankee Stadium start Sunday, holding the Giants to two runs one just two hits and a walk over seven frames. The veteran left-hander struck out six. Pettitte had a no-hitter going with one out in the sixth, but rookie infielder Ehire Adrianza then spoiled the party with a solo homer. He was pulled after allowing a leadoff double in the eighth and then watched the run cross the plate two batters later. Pettitte will carry a 3.88 ERA next week into his hometown of Houston, where he'll make the final start of his career.

Andy Pettitte will move up in the rotation to start Sunday against the Orioles. He'll start in place of Phil Hughes, who will be pushed back in the rotation to start Monday against the White Sox. Pettitte is on a very nice roll at the moment, but he isn't missing many bats and could be a risky play in shallow mixed fantasy leagues.
