Frazier will remain on the bench Saturday against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Frazier will sit in favor of J.D. Davis for the third straight game. With Jed Lowrie seemingly close to returning from a knee injury, it's hard to see Frazier's role increasing any time soon.

Frazier will sit for the second straight game Friday against Miami.
EDGE Analysis
Frazier is hitting just .143/.160/.265 in 15 games this season after a delayed start due to an oblique strain. J.D. Davis, who starts at third base Friday, is hitting .269/.360/.436. The situation at the position is about to get even more crowded with Jed Lowrie (knee) nearing a return.

Frazier went 1-for-4 with a grand slam in a 9-0 victory against the Phillies on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran third baseman made his season debut Monday because of an oblique injury, but he's pretty clearly healthy now. Frazier stole a base in his debut Monday and then hit a grand slam, doubling his team's lead in the fifth inning Tuesday. He is 2-for-8 (.250) with a home run, four RBI, one run and one steal in two games this year.

Frazier went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and two strikeouts in Monday's win over the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Getting the start at third base and hitting sixth, Frazier proved as well as he could that his oblique is 100 percent by stealing a bag the first time he got on base. The veteran third baseman is better known for his power than his speed, but he did swipe nine bags in 115 games last year and has three double-digit steal seasons on his resume.

Frazier (oblique) was activated off the injured list Monday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Frazier had battled a left oblique strain since late February. He should play fairly frequently at third base, though the Mets' situation there is tough to read even with Jed Lowrie (knee) still on the injured list. Jeff McNeil has played there on occasion, though he'll likely move more permanently to left field, while J.D. Davis has posted strong enough numbers that he doesn't deserve a demotion to a pure bench role.
