Robinson was added to Minnesota's 40-man roster and has made the 25-man roster. He'll split center field duties with Jordan Schafer. Manager Paul Molitor has said it won't be a strict platoon with Schafer getting the majority of playing time, but it sounds like Robinson will get several starts a week.

Robinson could be part of a platoon in center field with Aaron Hicks sent to Triple-A, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. It appears Robinson will make the 25-man roster as at least a reserve and possibly platoon with Schafer. However, Minnesota's center field situation remains in flux as the Twins could acquire a veteran cut by another team as a stopgap until top prospect Byron Buxton is ready to take over the job.

Robinson went 1-for-3 in Tuesday's win over Baltimore to raise his batting average to .368 this spring (5-for-17). He has a clause that let's him opt out of his contract if he's not on the 25-man roster by April 2, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Robinson is having a strong spring so far, but still seems like a long shot to win a roster spot. It's possible he could be the primary reserve outfielder if Aaron Hicks is sent to the minors and there's a small chance he could factor in a platoon in center field if he stays hot.

Robinson (shoulder) started in right field and went 0-for-2 in Wednesday's exhibition win over the University of Minnesota. Robinson had his 2014 season end in August due to shoulder surgery, but he looks fully healthy as spring training begins. He's a long shot to win a spot on the 25-man roster and will likely play most of the season at Triple-A.

Robinson (shoulder) signed a minor league deal with the Twins on Thursday that includes an invitation to spring training, LaVelle E. Neal of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Robinson had a limited role with the Cardinals in 2014, slashing .150/.227/.200 over 66 plate appearances. He'll attempt to earn an Opening Day roster spot as a reserve outfielder with the Twins in the upcoming season. Robinson finished the 2014 season on the 60-day disabled list following shoulder surgery, but he's expected to be fully healthy by this spring.

Robinson (shoulder) was released by the Cardinals on Tuesday. The acquisition of Jason Heyward from Atlanta gave the Cardinals a surplus of outfielders, and Robinson was ultimately deemed the weak link. A fifth-round pick in 2006, he has hit just .231/.303/.308 in parts of five seasons in the majors and was forced to undergo shoulder surgery late in the year. Robinson doesn't have much power or speed to speak of and will likely have to settle for a minor league deal once healthy.

Robinson (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day DL on Thursday. This is merely a procedural move to clear a 40-man roster spot for infielder Xavier Scruggs, who will join the team in Milwaukee ahead of Thursday's series opener. Robinson underwent shoulder surgery last Thursday, putting an end to an up-and-down season for the 29-year-old. While Robinson hit .304/.380/.398 in 53 games with Triple-A Memphis, he went just 9-for-60 (.150 average) with the big club.

Robinson underwent shoulder surgery Thursday and is out for the remainder of the season, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Robinson injured his shoulder on a slide while attempting to steal a base. He was placed on the disabled list Tuesday, and now will miss the rest of the season after having shoulder surgery. The team replaced him on the active roster with Randal Grichuk, who will likely take on Robinson's bench role for the remainder of the season.

Robinson (shoulder) was placed on the disabled list Tuesday, MLB.com's Jenifer Langosch reports. Robinson left Monday's game after a sliding attempt at stealing second base and has since been diagnosed with a sublaxation of his left shoulder. Randal Grichuk was recalled from Triple-A Memphis to replace him on the active roster.

Robinson was diagnosed with a subluxation of his left shoulder after leaving Monday's game, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. The outfielder is likely headed back to St. Louis for further evaluation, and quite possibly, a placement on the disabled list. As the team's fifth outfielder, Robinson typically only sees the occasional pinch-hitting opportunity and shouldn't be overly difficult for the Cardinals to replace.
