With second base Cesar Hernandez (oblique) landing on the disabled list, Kendrick will shift over to the keystone in Sunday's game, and could end up settling in at the position for the duration of Hernandez's absence. If that's the case, It would likely open up a regular spot for Saunders in the outfield, giving the Phillies another power threat in the middle of the lineup.
