Szczur (hamstring) will be activated from the DL on Saturday, Gordon Wittenmyer of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Szczur has been on a rehab assignment at Double-A Tennessee, but he'll return to the Cubs on Saturday and will be available for the night's matchup with the Giants. It's unclear whether or not he'll play, but the Cubs could certainly use the extra outfield depth with Jason Heyward (hip) out. Neil Ramirez was designated for assignment Saturday to make room on the roster.

Szczur (hamstring) will start a rehab assignment with Double-A Tennessee on Thursday, Mark Gonzalez of the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Szczur has been on the disabled list since May 3, but it appears that his hamstring is holding up well enough to allow him to compete in full game action. A clear timetable hasn't been revealed, but if all goes well in his upcoming rehab games, the 26-year-old could return to the Cubs before the end of the month.

Szczur (hamstring) was placed on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday due to a mild hamstring strain, Carrie Muskat of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Szczur injured his hamstring in Monday's bout with the Pirates, and it appears that the MRI he underwent on Tuesday revealed enough to send him to the disabled list. To fill his spot on the roster, Ryan Kalish was added to the 40-man roster and called up, while Christian Villanueva was transferred to the 60-day disabled list.

Szczur will have an MRI on his right hamstring Tuesday, Jesse Rogers of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Szczur left Monday's game against Pittsburgh in the fifth inning and was replaced by Javier Baez as Ben Zobrist moved to right field. With Jason Heyward (wrist) also out of the lineup, the Cubs may consider calling up Matt Murton for outfield depth.

Szczur left Monday's game against Pittsburgh with tightness in his right hamstring and is considered day-to-day, Gordon Wittenmyer of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sczur stole home in the top of the fifth but was replaced by Javier Baez in the bottom half of the inning. The 26-year-old was only in the lineup as a replacement for Jason Heyward (wrist) to begin with. Baez or Ben Zobrist should see increased playing time if Szczur is forced to sit out Tuesday.

Szczur swatted a grand slam home run in his only plate appearance to help propel the Cubs to a 6-1 win over Atlanta on Friday afternoon.
EDGE Analysis
Szczur has only accumulated 27 at bats this season, but he has made the most of them, hitting .333 with a pair of home runs and 10 RBI. Generally a reserve, he has shown the ability to produce with limited playing time, but he would likely need an injury or prolonged slump from one of other Cubs' outfielders to generate much consistent fantasy value.

Szczur is in the starting lineup Sunday against the Reds, MLB.com's Carrie Muskat reports.
EDGE Analysis
Szczur will be making just his third start of the season, as the 26-year-old will get the nod in left field and bat seventh in the order. His presence in the lineup is a direct result of Dexter Fowler getting the day off, so look for Szczur to return to a reserve role when the Cubs kick off a three-game series against the Brewers on Tuesday.

Szczur hit a run-scoring single in Thursday's win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Even with the injury to Kyle Schwarber, Szczur has found it difficult to get into the lineup most nights. He has just 17 at-bats on the year, including just four in the last five games. The Cubs can afford to keep him around as a fifth outfielder and pinch hitter, but that won't help most fantasy teams.

Szczur is in the lineup Tuesday against the Angels and will bat eighth in the order as the Cubs' left fielder.
EDGE Analysis
Szczur parlayed an impressive season debut Monday into a start for the Cubs' second game of the year Tuesday. He had a bases-clearing pinch-hit double in his lone at-bat Monday and he provides more reliable defense Kyle Schwarber in left field. Szczur will be facing left-hander Andrew Heaney on Tuesday.

Szczur went 1-for-1 with a three-run double in the Cubs' season-opening victory over the Angels on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
With the Cubs up six, Szczur came into the game as a defensive replacement for Kyle Schwarber in the seventh inning. He won't get many at-bats this year, but Szczur is likely to receive a lot of his playing time as a defensive replacement, making it difficult to count on him in a fantasy capacity.
