Carpenter isn't starting Monday against the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Carpenter has started against just five left-handed pitchers this year and is getting a breather with southpaw Marco Gonzales on the mound for Seattle. Aaron Judge is shifting to right field while Aaron Hicks starts in center.

Carpenter went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in an 8-2 win against Kansas City on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Carpenter made his first start in three games and came through with a solo shot to right field in the seventh inning. The homer was his 15th in only 40 games with the Yankees, and he's slashing an impressive .311/.425/.792 over that span. Despite the impressive numbers, Carpenter's playing time could take a hit with New York's acquisition of Andrew Benintendi, though the former is versatile enough to still carve out enough playing time to make an impact.

Carpenter isn't in the lineup Friday against Kansas City.
EDGE Analysis
Carpenter is on the bench for a second consecutive matchup after going 3-for-16 with a homer, two runs, an RBI, a walk and six strikeouts over the last five games. Andrew Benintendi, Aaron Hicks and Aaron Judge are starting in the outfield from left to right.

Carpenter is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Carpenter went 3-for-15 with a solo home run and a walk while starting each of the last four games in right field, and though it's Joey Gallo who will replace him in the lineup Thursday, the acquisition of Andrew Benintendi is more likely to dampen Carpenter's playing-time outlook moving forward. Giancarlo Stanton's (Achilles) recent move to the injured list temporarily alleviates the logjam in the corner outfield and at designated hitter, but once Stanton is healthy, the likes of Carpenter, Aaron Hicks and Gallo could all see their opportunities take a hit.

Carpenter will start in right field and bat fifth in Wednesday's game against the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
He'll man right field for the fourth game in a row and should serve as the primary option at the position following Giancarlo Stanton's (Achilles) placement on the 10-day injured list Tuesday. Carpenter has been cold out of the All-Star break with a 2-for-18 showing at the plate, but he's still holding down a monstrous 1.221 OPS through 118 plate appearances on the season.

Carpenter went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in a loss to the Orioles on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Carpenter's second-inning long ball gave the Yankees a 2-0 lead and pushed his total to 14 homers on the campaign. Incredibly, he's reached that number in only 89 at-bats. Among players with at least 100 plate appearances, Carpenter's 38.9 HR/FB is tops in the majors.

Carpenter went 2-for-4 with two home runs, a walk, three total runs and seven total RBI in Saturday's 14-1 rout over the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Boston took an early 1-0 lead, but Carpenter erased that with his three-run shot to right field in the first inning. The veteran connected on another three-run shot in the fifth, and he closed his ledger by drawing a bases-loaded walk in the eighth. It's been a remarkable resurgence for Carpenter this season -- he's slashing an incredible .360/.473/.933 with 13 homers, 31 RBI and 22 runs over just 92 plate appearances. Per ESPN, Carpenter is the fifth player in the expansion era to notch an OPS of at least 1.400 through his first 30 games of the season with a minimum of 90 plate appearances.

Carpenter went 1-for-3 with a walk, a two-run home run and two runs scored Thursday against Cincinnati.
EDGE Analysis
Carpenter took Reiver Sanmartin yard in the 10th inning to tally his 11th homer of the season. After a brief power slump in late June, Carpenter now has five long balls in eight July starts while also driving in 11 and scoring seven runs in that span. Carpenter owns a .338/.451/.868 line across 83 plate appearances since joining the Yankees in late May.

Carpenter is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Since joining the Yankees in late May, Carpenter has turned in a monstrous 1.306 OPS in 77 plate appearances, which has allowed him to push for more playing time in an already crowded lineup. Even with American League MVP candidate Aaron Judge taking a seat Tuesday, the Yankees won't have room for Carpenter in the starting nine. Carpenter will hit the bench after starts in each of the past six games between designated hitter, left field and right.

Carpenter went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, an additional run and a walk in Sunday's loss to the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Though Sunday wasn't a great day from a team standpoint for the Yankees, Carpenter continued to impress with his third straight multi-hit performance. The veteran has gone 7-for-9 with two walks, two homers and four RBI over that stretch, and his season slash line now stands at an eye-popping .344/.447/.859 with 10 homers and 22 RBI over 77 plate appearances. He was rarely getting into the starting lineup near the end of June, but manager Aaron Boone has found a way to get his bat into the starting nine nearly every day in July, so Carpenter should be rostered in most fantasy leagues for as long as he remains hot.
