Latos allowed seven runs on 11 hits in 4.2 innings Tuesday in his Cactus League debut.
EDGE Analysis
Latos was actually pitching pretty well for the first four innings of this contest, holding the Giants to two runs on six hits. But fatigue may have set in in the fifth, when the Giants exploded for five runs (including two home runs). Latos still has the inside edge for the White Sox's fifth starter spot, and he should get a few more spins in the rotation before Opening Day.

Latos threw four innings in a "B" game Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Latos was supposed to make his Cactus League debut Saturday, but the White Sox instead used Erik Johnson against the Cubs. Latos remains the frontrunner, ahead of Johnson and Jacob Turner, for the team's final rotation spot.

Latos will start Saturday's Cactus League game against the Cubs, Dan Hayes of CSN Chicago reports.
EDGE Analysis
Latos has yet to make a Cactus league appearance, but the White Sox made it clear that his absence wasn't injury-related. After signing a one-year, $3 million deal in early February, the 28-year-old righty will compete for the fifth rotation spot against Erik Johnson, who allowed four runs over three innings in his Cactus League debut Monday.

Latos is yet to throw in the Cactus League, but his absence is not injury-related, the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Robin Ventura said pitching coach Don Cooper has withheld Latos on purpose, but the did not say what that purpose is. Whatever the reason, Latos is reportedly healthy and has the inside track on the team's fifth starter role. Fellow fifth starter competitor Erik Johnson struggled in his start Monday.

Latos has reached agreement on a one-year, $3 million contract with the White Sox, Dan Hayes of CSN Chicago reports.
EDGE Analysis
Latos had a nightmare 2015 spent with three different teams, combining for a 4.95 ERA and 1.31 WHIP over 116.1 innings, albeit with a solid 100:32 K:BB. His ability to stay healthy is still a major concern, but the White Sox appear to have found a nice bargain, as Latos posted a sub-3.50 ERA in five straight seasons from 2010 to 2014. He just turned 28 in December.

Latos signed with the Angels on Monday, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Just three days after being released by the Dodgers, Latos has found another home with the other Los Angeles club. He won't be available for the postseason, but it's possible the veteran will receive a start before the regular season comes to a close. The terms of the contract remains unclear, but Latos will provide them an extra arm over the last week of the regular season as they attempt to earn a playoff berth.

Latos was released by the Dodgers on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Latos was designated for assignment by the Dodgers back on September 17, and rather than assign him to the minors, the club has elected to let him go. He'll now be free to sign elsewhere.

Latos was designated for assignment by the Dodgers on Thursday, Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Latos was moved to the bullpen after struggling since the trade to Los Angeles, and now he has lost his spot on the 40-man roster. It's possible that another team will claim him, but if not, he will likely have the option to elect free agency or accept an assignment to the minors.

Latos (neck) has been moved to the bullpen, Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Latos has been dealing with a neck issue that scratched him from his regularly scheduled start Wednesday. It turns out he's now healthy (he was available for Saturday's game), but will be demoted to bullpen duties. The right-hander has logged just one quality start in five chances since heading to the Dodgers via trade. Barring an injury elsewhere in the rotation, the bullpen appears to be the plan for the 27-year-old moving forward.

Latos was scratched from his scheduled start Wednesday due to neck stiffness. Joe Wieland will get the start in Latos' place.
EDGE Analysis
The nature of Latos' setback is not certain, but it will prevent him from taking the mound Wednesday night. It remains to be seen if the Dodgers will simply skip his start, or if he will still take the ball before the week is over.
