Duda is not in Wednesday's starting lineup against the Tigers, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duda will ride the pine as lefty Matt Boyd is slated to take the hill for the opposition in the series finale. Hunter Dozier is penciled into the lineup at first base and he'll bat sixth.

Duda went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's loss to Cleveland.
EDGE Analysis
Duda hit a first-inning home run -- his sixth of the year -- off Shane Bieber to give the Royals an early two-run lead. Duda has now played in nine games since returning from the disabled list on June 23 (missing over a month with plantar fasciitis) and is hitting .252 with eight doubles, 24 RBI and 15 runs in 46 games this season.

Duda is out of the lineup Sunday against the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Duda will head to the bench with a tough southpaw in James Paxton on the mound. Since returning June 23 from an extended stay on the disabled list due to a foot injury, Duda has gone 3-for-19 (.158 average) with a home run, three RBI and two runs.

Duda is out of the lineup against the Brewers on Wednesday, Maria Torres of the Kansas City Star reports.

Hunter Dozier will draw a start at first base while Duda heads to the bench with no designated hitting spot in a National League ballpark. Look for Duda to rejoin the starting lineup for Friday's series opener in Seattle.

Duda (foot) was activated from the 10-day disabled list Saturday, Rustin Dodd of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Look for Duda to immediately enter the Royals' starting lineup after missing the past 35 games due to plantar fasciitis. The veteran first baseman was slashing .256/.317/.398 with four home runs and 19 RBI over 37 contests prior to his injury. With Duda back on the active roster, look for Hunter Dozier to move to a bench role. In a corresponding move, Paulo Orlando was optioned to the minors.

Duda (foot) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Omaha on Sunday, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duda has been out since mid-May with plantar fasciitis but is now nearing a return. Prior to the injury, the veteran first baseman was hitting a mediocre .256/.317/.398. His replacement, the 26-year-old Hunter Dozier, hasn't done much to stake his claim for more playing time, hitting a disappointing .240/.298/.354.

Manager Ned Yost said he's hoping Duda (foot) can begin a minor-league rehab assignment over the weekend, Josh Vernier of 610 Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duda has been on the shelf since mid-May with plantar fasciitis in his right foot, but a return is finally in sight. Barring any setbacks in the coming days, the veteran first baseman will hopefully be cleared for game action over the weekend. That said, it's still unclear how many rehab appearances Duda will need to make before rejoining the Royals, leaving his potential return date murky.

Duda was placed on the 10-day disabled list Monday with plantar fasciitis in his right foot, Joel Goldberg of FOX Sports Kansas City reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear when the issue cropped up on Duda, but it's apparently bothersome enough to warrant a stay on the disabled list. He'll be eligible to return May 24, though whether the first baseman will be ready to go by then remains to be seen. In the meantime, Hunter Dozier was recalled from Triple-A Omaha in a corresponding move and is starting at first base in his stead Monday.

Duda is out of the lineup Sunday against the Tigers, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duda will be joined on the bench by Alex Gordon as manager Ned Yost withholds two of the team's key lefty bats from the lineup with southpaw Matthew Boyd on the bump for Detroit. Cheslor Cuthbert will start at first base in Duda's stead.

Duda (undisclosed) will play first base and bat fifth against Detroit on Thursday, 610 Sports Radio - Kansas City reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duda was a late scratch from Wednesday's lineup due to an undisclosed reason, but the 32-year-old was able to join the game as a pinch hitter, striking out in his lone at-bat versus Craig Kimbrel. Through 27 games this year, Duda is hitting just .214/.287/.316 and he will look to get into a groove with right-hander Mike Fiers taking the mound during Thursday's series opener.
