Chisenhall (calf) will start in right field and bat third for the Indians in Sunday's Cactus League game against the Mariners, T.J. Zuppe of The Athletic Cleveland reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chisenhall was held out of Saturday's game against the Cubs while battling a sore right calf, but his day off looks to be precautionary more than anything else. The 29-year-old is slated to open the upcoming season as the strong side of a platoon in right field.

Chisenhall was scratched from Saturday's spring game with right calf tightness, T.J. Zuppe of The Athletic Cleveland reports.
EDGE Analysis
The good news is the team is calling his removal from the lineup precautionary. Chisenhall should be considered day-to-day for now; more should be known about the severity of the issue following the conclusion of Saturday's contest. Conner Capel is batting ninth and playing right field in Chisenhall's place.

Chisenhall is 100 percent healthy as the Indians head into the second week of spring training, Jeff Schudel of The News-Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chisenhall showed up to spring training healthy and with increased flexibility, something he focused on during the offseason. He found himself on the disabled list on July 10 of last season with a calf injury, and wasn't able to come back until Sept. 14 -- he led the team with 51 RBI prior to the injury. The 29-year-old outfielder will look to remain healthy throughout the 2018 campaign.

Chisenhall agreed to a one-year, $5,587,500 deal with the Indians on Friday, avoiding arbitration, Bob Nightengale of USA Today Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chisenhall appeared in 82 games last season, slashing .288/.360/.521 with 12 home runs and 53 RBI. The outfielder dealt with a rash of injuries in 2017, including a calf ailment, concussion and shoulder issue that all caused him to miss an extended period of time. Looking ahead, he will likely remain in a platoon facing right-handers, but can't be counted on to provide a healthy amount of at-bats.

Chisenhall is out of the lineup for Game 2 of the ALDS against the Yankees on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Chisenhall will retreat to the bench in favor of Austin Jackson, who is set to man left field and bat seventh in the order for the second game of the series. During Thursday's contest, Chisenhall went 0-for-1 and was replaced by Jackson in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Chisenhall is out of the lineup Sunday against the White Sox, Paul Hoynes of Cleveland.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Austin Jackson will start in left field while Chisenhall gets some rest. Chisenhall dealt with a calf injury recently, so the Indians are likely looking to avoid aggravating the injury with the postseason set to begin this week.

Chisenhall is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Chisenhall returned to the lineup Thursday after not starting the previous 11 games due to a calf injury, so he will be held out Friday in order to give his leg some time to recover from its first live action in a while. Austin Jackson will man left field for the Indians on Friday.

Chisenhall (calf) is back in the lineup Thursday against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Chisenhall struck out in a pinch-hit appearance Wednesday, breaking a streak of 10 straight missed games. He's now back to his regular role in left field, batting seventh in the order. Though he's now presumably healthy, Chisenhall could still concede reps to Austin Jackson or Abraham Almonte in the season's final week.

Chisenhall (calf) is available from the bench Wednesday against the Twins, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
In addition to being available to play Wednesday, Chisenhall is expected to return to the lineup for Thursday's series finale against Minnesota. Chisenhall has been out since Sept. 14 with a sore calf, but will be able to get back on the field as the Indians prepare for the 2017 postseason.
