Ondrusek (shoulder) was activated from the 15-day DL Monday, the Cincinnati Enquirer's C. Trent Rosecrans reports. He rejoined the team Saturday, and was activated in advance of the Reds' series this week against St. Louis. He will offer depth out of the big-league bullpen, but doesn't figure to be in line to steal any saves from Aroldis Chapman.

Ondrusek (shoulder) joined the Reds on Saturday, though he hasn't yet been activated from the DL. Ondrusek could be activated from the DL as early as Monday. He threw one inning in his rehab game at Triple-A Louisville, allowing two hits but then getting out of the inning by inducing a double play.

Ondrusek (shoulder) will pitch the first inning for Triple-A Louisville on Friday as part of his rehab assignment. Ondrusek may be ready to return from the DL after the Reds finish their series in Colorado this weekend.

Ondrusek (shoulder) threw a 34-pitch simulated game Tuesday, MLB.com's Mark Sheldon reports. Ondrusek indicated he felt strong after the session, putting him on track to throw an inning in a minor league rehab assignment Friday. If the outing goes well, the Reds would likely activate him from the DL on Saturday, with Ondrusek slotting back into a setup role in the Reds' bullpen.

Ondrusek (shoulder) threw a bullpen session before Wednesday's game. It was the first bullpen session for Ondrusek since going on the DL on Friday. "He was very impressive," manager Bryan Price said. "I imagine he'll probably throw another bullpen here probably on Friday or Saturday and reassess. He's not so far removed from competition that he'd need an extended rehab or anything like that. We'll have to decide if he needs a rehab outing or two, or not."

Logan Ondrusek (shoulder) will resume a throwing program on Monday. Ondrusek has been out for a couple weeks with a strained right shoulder but is obviously feeling better. He should rejoin the Reds' bullpen before long if all goes well.

Reds recalled RHP Logan Ondrusek from Double-A Pensacola. He'll replace Sean Marshall (shoulder) on the active roster. Ondrusek didn't make the Opening Day roster despite a 3.45 ERA since the start of 2010, but he should do fine in middle relief.
