Lynn (4-6) took the loss Wednesday, allowing eight runs on eight hits and two walks over 4 innings against the Angels. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
Lynn gave up three home runs in the losing effort, including a pair of two-run shots to Shohei Ohtani. The 36-year-old Lynn had been pitching better coming into Wednesday's outing, logging three consecutive quality starts with a 1.89 ERA in that span. His ERA is now up to 6.55 with a 1.51 WHIP and 76:26 K:BB through 12 starts (67.1 innings) this season. Lynn will look to get back on track in his next outing, currently lined up for next week against the Yankees.

Lynn (4-5) earned the win Friday, allowing three runs (one earned) on three hits and five walks across six innings during a 12-3 victory over the Tigers. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
Despite allowing a season-high five walks, Lynn completed his third straight quality start Friday after tossing just one over his first eight appearances. The veteran's 5.83 ERA still appears rough, but he's allowed just four earned runs over his past 19 innings and still boasts an elite 72:24 K:BB across 11 outings (63.1 innings). Lynn will look to stay hot in his next start, which is tentatively scheduled for the finale of a three-game set versus the Angels.

Lynn (3-5) earned the win Sunday, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks over six innings against the Royals. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
Lynn picked up his third win in his last four appearances Sunday and appears to be turning the corner after starting the campaign 0-4 with a 7.16 ERA in his first six starts (32.2 innings). His lone blemish Sunday came on a two-run homer from Michael Massey in the second inning. Though Lynn's run prevention has been up and down throughout 2023, he has been one of the best strikeout producers in MLB with a 10.5 K/9 that ranks 16th among starters.

Lynn (2-5) earned the win Tuesday, allowing three runs (one earned) on seven hits over seven innings against Cleveland. He struck out seven.
EDGE Analysis
Lynn secured his second quality start of the season Tuesday, his first since April 11, while righting the ship after taking a loss in four of his last five starts. The veteran righty got off to a blazing start, retiring each of the first 11 batters and holding the Guardians scoreless until the sixth frame. Though Lynn owns a 6.66 ERA and a 1.94 HR/9, his one saving grace has been his swing-and-miss stuff, with a 10.69 K/9. After finishing with an ERA above 4.00 once in his first 11 years in the bigs, Lynn is on pace to finish above that mark in 2023 but could be in line for some positive regression considering his 61.8 percent left on base percentage and xERA and xFIP values significantly lower than his actual numbers.

Lynn (1-4) took the loss Wednesday against the Royals, allowing seven runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out four over five innings.
EDGE Analysis
Lynn started off by allowing four runs in the opening frame after the Royals tallied six hits against him. He wound up surrendering a pair of home runs as well. The 36-year-old has been nothing short of a disappointment this season and has given up at least four runs in each of his last five starts. Lynn's 7.51 ERA is the worst among all qualified pitchers and his 1.60 ERA is sitting at sixth worst in MLB. He'll look to rebound in a projected start against the Guardians at home next week.

Lynn (1-4) picked up the win in Friday's 5-4 victory over the Reds, giving up four runs on eight hits over 6.2 innings. He struck out eight without walking a batter.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran right-hander pounded the strike zone, firing 74 of 103 pitches for strikes while generated 19 swinging strikes, and he got just enough run support to get into the win column for the first time this year. Lynn also served up another homer though, his ninth in 39.1 innings, and that remains the biggest obstacle between him and turning his season around. He'll take a 6.86 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 50:15 K:BB into his next start, likely to come next week in Kansas City.

Lynn (0-4) took the loss Saturday, allowing four runs on three hits and two walks over 6.1 innings against the Rays. He struck out 10.
EDGE Analysis
Lynn was working on a no hitter through six innings. Then the seventh inning started with a Wander Franco home run and ended with 10 Tampa Bay runs coming across the plate. Lynn was lifted after four of the first five batters of the inning reached. All four scored, costing Lynn a quality start. The 35-year-old has had a disastrous start to 2023 with a 7.16 ERA through six starts.

Lynn (0-3) took the loss Monday, allowing four runs on five hits and three walks over five innings against Toronto. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
Lynn posted three scoreless frames before getting into trouble in the fourth. After retiring the first two batters of the frame, the veteran right-hander allowed five straight baserunners to reach, including a three-run homer by Cavan Biggio that gave the Blue Jays a 4-2 lead. Lynn has allowed multiple runs in each of his five starts this season and has gotten through six innings just once. He currently has a 7.52 ERA and a 1.78 WHIP, but his 32:13 K:BB through 26.1 innings is somewhat encouraging.

Lynn will start Monday's game against the Blue Jays, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lynn will trade places with Lucas Giolito with Giolito moving up from Monday to start Sunday's game against the Rays. In his last start, Lynn was roughed up for five runs on 10 hits while walking three over 5.1 innings in a loss to the Phillies on Tuesday.

Lynn (0-2) took the loss in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Phillies, coughing up five runs on 10 hits and three walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out seven.
EDGE Analysis
All 10 hits were singles as Lynn got BABIP'd to death in an eventual 7-4 loss for the White Sox. The veteran right-hander tossed 71 of 107 pitches for strikes while generating 31 called or swinging strikes along the way, offering some hope that his 7.59 ERA will soon come down. Lynn will take a 28:10 K:BB through 21.1 innings into his next start, likely to come this weekend in Tampa Bay.
