Smoak is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Smoak is in the midst of a 2-for-30 (.067) stretch over his last 10 appearances, so he'll take a seat on the bench for Wednesday's series finale as he looks to hit the reset button. In his place, Rowdy Tellez is starting at first base and hitting third.

Smoak went 0-for-3 with two walks and an RBI in Tuesday's win over the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
A bases-loaded free pass in the fourth inning gave Smoak his first RBI since May 4. The veteran first baseman is in a deep slump, hitting .115 (7-for-61) over his last 18 games without a homer, and only his 15 walks over that stretch has allowed him to retain some shred of fantasy value in OBP formats. The rough stretch has dragged his slash line on the season down to .219/.365/.375.

Smoak went 1-for-6 with an RBI single in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Athletics in 11 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Smoak's base hit to left field scored the game-winning run and provided a silver lining to an otherwise tough homestand for the 32-year-old. During series against the Giants and Athletics, Smoak managed only three hits in 21 at-bats, sinking his season batting average to .273.

Smoak went 4-for-5 with a two-run home run Sunday against the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Smoak took J.B. Wendelken deep in the seventh inning for his fifth home run of the game. After a producing little in terms of power to begin the season, Smoak has racked up three home runs in his past four games and is now slugging .582 across 67 at-bats. He'll look to keep this production rolling as the Blue Jays open a series Tuesday against the Giants.

Smoak went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and a second run scored in Saturday's 10-1 win over the A's.
EDGE Analysis
He's been locked in at the plate lately, hitting .344 (11-for-32) over the last 10 games with three of his four homers on the year, as well as 10 runs, 11 RBI and an impressive 10:6 BB:K. Smoak's surge has pushed his slash line up to .274/.416/.516, and his run-producing opportunities should increase once Vlad Guerrero Jr. gets added to the Jays lineup.

Smoak went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in a 7-4 victory against the Twins on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
It was only his third home run of the year, but Smoak has drive in six RBI in the last four games. With his three homers, he is batting .259 with 13 RBI and 10 runs in 54 at-bats.

Smoak went 1-for-3 with two walks, a run scored and two RBI in Tuesday's win over the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
After going 0-for-4 on Opening Day, Smoak has reached base in every game since, posting a .286/.474/.476 slash line with two homers, nine runs, 10 RBI and a whopping 13 free passes in 13 games. The first baseman has been one of the only steady performers in the Jays lineup to begin the season, which has contributed to those walks as other teams pitch around him, but Smoak should get a little more help once Vlad Guerrero Jr. joins the lineup.

Smoak went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run Thursday against the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Smoak had been sidelined in four of the last five games with neck stiffness. However, he showed no ill-effects in his return, blasting his second home run of the season off Nate Eovaldi in the third inning. He should continue to bat high in the order -- he's hit either third or fourth in every start -- meaning he should provide solid counting stats to go along with his power.

Smoak (neck) is back in action Thursday against Boston.
EDGE Analysis
Neck soreness had kept Smoak out of the lineup for four of the last five games, and he hasn't played the field since April 2. He'll hit third as the designated hitter Thursday.

Smoak (neck) remains out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Smoak sat out two of the Blue Jays' three games in Cleveland over the weekend due to the neck issue, which resurfaced prior to Sunday's series finale. Toronto was hopeful that Smoak would be good to go after Monday's off-day, but the first baseman apparently needs at least one more day to recover from the issue. Alen Hanson will fill in for Smoak on defense and bat eighth in Tuesday's series opener.
