Justin Grimm was rocked for six runs -- five earned -- on seven hits and two walks over just four innings in Tuesday's loss to the Mariners. Grimm struck out just one and allowed three homers on the night, including back-to-back shots by Raul Ibanez and Kendrys Morales in the first. The right-hander has seen his ERA rise from 3.93 to 5.84 over his last six starts and surely would have been booted from the rotation by now had the Rangers not had so many injuries. He's currently in line to get the ball again this weekend at home against the Astros.

Justin Grimm allowed three runs in five innings to earn the win over the Yankees on Wednesday. The win moved Grimm to 7-5 and he's now won his last two starts. He allowed six hits without walking a batter on Wednesday, striking out four. When the Rangers starters get healthy Grimm might be a candidate for a move to the bullpen, but for now he'll likely remain in the rotation. His next start will come Tuesday against the Mariners.

Justin Grimm allowed three runs over five innings to pick up the win against the A's on Wednesday. Grimm followed up his longest outing of the year with one of the shorter ones, throwing just 75 pitches over the five innings before being pulled. It was still enough to get him his sixth win, as he held the A's to just three hits and three walks. His next start will come Tuesday against the Yankees in New York.

Justin Grimm was tagged for a career-high seven runs in 7 2/3 innings Friday in a loss to the Blue Jays. It was the longest outing of his career, but it wasn't pretty. He gave up 10 hits (including two homers) while walking two and fanning four. Grimm's ERA has increased from 3.93 to 5.59 over the span of his last three outings. The Rangers figure to stick with him for the time being, but he's not an option in mixed fantasy leagues. He currently lines up to face the first-place Athletics next week at home.

Justin Grimm didn't pitch well but escaped with a no-decision Sunday, allowing four runs on five hits and three walks over 5 2/3 innings in a 6-4 victory over the Blue Jays. Grimm managed to notch six strikeouts, but he was undone by a poor third inning when the Jays tallied three hits, a walk and all four of their runs. After a great April, Grimm has been hit-or-miss since the beginning of May. He'll bring an uninspiring 5.25 ERA and 1.57 WHIP into a rematch with the Blue Jays next weekend.

Justin Grimm lasted just 1 2/3 innings against the Red Sox on Tuesday, allowing eight runs in the Rangers' loss. The right-hander's ERA was 3.93 going into the game and 5.13 upon his exit, so it's fair to say he had a rough night. Of the seven hits he allowed, five were for extra bases, including a triple by David Ortiz and a Jackie Bradley Jr. home run. He'll start again Sunday against the Blue Jays.

Justin Grimm won after allowing three runs and 10 hits in 6 1/3 innings versus the Mariners on Friday. With some help from Jeff Nelson. Grimm intercepted an attempted 3-6-3 double-play relay in the second inning tonight while first baseman Mitch Moreland was still reaching for the ball. Nelson never realized that the pitcher, not the first baseman, caught the ball and gave the Rangers the out. It proved to be an especially big play when Brendan Ryan followed with a rare double. Were the call gotten right, it doesn't seem nearly so likely that Grimm would have pitched into the seventh inning tonight.

Justin Grimm was bombed for five earned runs over five innings in his second consecutive start Monday, taking a loss against the A's. He had the same line Tuesday against the Brewers. The one bit of good news for the former fifth-round pick was that he didn't allow a first-inning run after having struggled with that frame all season. Grimm surrendered a pair of homers, two walks and seven hits while striking out three. In his last two starts, Grimm's ERA has jumped from 2.28 to 4.23 and his WHIP has gone from 1.27 to 1.49. We expect Grimm's ERA to keep rising, but he's a decent enough option in AL-only leagues.

Justin Grimm was shelled for five earned runs in five innings Tuesday as the Rangers fell to the Brewers. Grimm ran into big problems right out of the gate, yielding five hits and all five runs in the top of the first inning. He settled in after that and wound up with a cool seven strikeouts, but his ERA jumped from 2.28 to 3.45 and his WHIP went from 1.27 to 1.43. The young right-hander can't be trusted in mixed fantasy leagues.

Justin Grimm surrendered three runs in 6 2/3 innings in taking his first loss Thursday to the White Sox. He did strike out nine in the game. Grimm was the AL Rookie of the Month for April because of three good starts against the Mariners (twice) and Twins. Now that the Rangers' schedule is getting more difficult, Grimm's ERA should keep rising. He's a decent enough option in AL-only lagues, though.
