Josh Reddick Injured Monday rotoballer.com Mon 9/17/18 10:41 PM

Houston Astros outfielder Josh Reddick (ankle) left the game early on Monday with right ankle discomfort. Reddick was hitless in his lone plate appearance before departing the contest. The left-handed hitter actually has reverse splits this year, hitting .280 against lefties and just .223 against right-handers. Overall, he's hitting .240/.312/.391 with 15 homers, 44 RBI and seven stolen bases. He hasn't been all that useful in mixed leagues.

Houston Astros outfielder Josh Reddick went 2-for-4 on Sunday, including his 15th home run of the season in the Astros 5-4 win. The veteran's seventh inning blast now gives him home runs in consecutive games and came into Sunday slugging .675 over the last seven games. It has been a disappointing season for Reddick after hitting .314 with 82 RBI in 2017 but appears to be heating up at the right time. Reddick is no sure thing to be in the lineup every day but should see an increase in at-bats in[...]

Hitter Streamers (Week 22) - Head-to-Head Leagues rotoballer.com Sat 8/25/18 2:07 AM

Welcome back to my hitting streamers column for Week 22, taking a look at hitters to add or stream off the waiver wire for this week's scheduled games. To keep things simple, I pick from players who are 50% owned or less and who play at least seven games in the week.  If someone jumps off the page at me as a less than seven game player, I may make an exception, but otherwise the advantage in number of games dictates my choices. Streaming can be a valuable tool, by allowing you to feast on[...]

Josh Reddick Slugging .564 Against Lefties rotoballer.com Fri 8/24/18 11:33 AM

Houston Astros outfielder Josh Reddick and Co. will take on the Angels Andrew Heaney in Anaheim on Friday night. Reddick has hit left-handed pitching hard this season, slashing .282/.331/.564 with two triples, six doubles and seven home runs in 110 at-bats. Reddick has really struggled at the plate recently and is mired in a 8-for-51 (.157) slump over his last 15 games. It may be hard to justify playing the veteran long-term on any fantasy roster right now but will carry sleeper status in DF[...]

Josh Reddick is Back in the Lineup on Friday rotoballer.com Fri 8/10/18 2:37 PM

Houston Astros outfielder Josh Reddick (rest) is back in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Seattle Mariners. He was given the night off on Thursday against lefty James Paxton. Reddick will bat cleanup and play right field against righty Mike Leake on Friday. He's a decent DFS option against a mediocre pitcher in a favorable part of the batting order.

Week 20 Waiver Wire: H2H Category Streamers rotoballer.com Fri 8/10/18 3:00 AM

I like to consider myself a pioneer of the streaming approach. I won a league about seven years ago by completely ignoring saves and just stacking up the starts each week. While streaming is undoubtedly more directly associated with pitching, there's plenty of value in streaming for offense as well. Maybe you have a stacked roster and you can't drop anyone. But for those of us with a couple of guys on the roster fringes, it's never too early to look into targeting a specific player or two to [...]

Josh Reddick Slugging .519 Against Left-Handed Pitching rotoballer.com Mon 7/30/18 11:28 AM

Houston Astros outfielder Josh Reddick is currently in a 4-for-27 (.148) funk heading into the team's huge series with the Mariners beginning Monday night. Reddick had begun hitting the ball with more consistent authority two weeks ago but has been unable to take advantage of being moved into the heart of the order the past few games. The veteran's inconsistency makes him a difficult play in fantasy despite a favorable matchup for Monday. The Mariners will send to the mound left-handed starter [...]
